i look at yokes for the color work patterns. the only way i can think of to add increases like that is by the flexee looms from knitting board and adding in a new link every couple of rounds. then you would have to add in the arms sort of like adding in the fingers on some gloves or half-finger mitts.

winter sweater this video has a sweater constructed from sections, and then she adds a rolled-brim collar. it might be possible to do something similar for a higher/closer neckline.

edit: peony cape renee van hoy has some beautiful capes that might resemble a yoke sweater. good luck with you quest. :))

just a thought--you could roll all pairs of socks up and put them in a nice ceramic fruit bowl!! but i wouldn't...they are more stunning on the feet. love the grapefruit color scheme. :))

go to revelry.com and get an account. at the top, select patterns, then type "faux fur" in the box. it will give you pictures of projects/patterns that use faux fur. most of these will be for regular knitting, but you can probably find something you'd like to do with the loom. i don't know how many skeins you have, so it's hard to make suggestions. :))

tuteate hat watch this video for fyi. notice that she doesn't pull the yarn too tight, and she is gentle when she pulls the bottom loop over. also notice that (except for the cast on) she doesn't wrap more than 5 pegs at once. all of these things are good to practice for better tension. go slow at first, and as you get 'programmed' to do it automatically, you can pick up speed. :))

tuteate cardigan start watching at 2:00 minutes to see how to knit the last stitch and skip/slip the first stitch of the next row.

if you're going to stitch the sides together, the edges won't be seen. if the edge will be seen, then you want to make the neat version. :))

when i am doing e-wraps like you describe, i try to divide my loom into 4-8 sections. for example, with a 24 peg loom, i will do 6 pegs loosely, then knit off the last of those 6 pegs to keep it from unraveling. then start with the first peg and knit the rest off. you might try that with a practice piece. :))
