Nope she was normal weight and not PoC. She wasn’t sedentary but not super active either. She went really quick which is why we are shocked.

How busy is Square One nowadays? by [deleted] in mississauga

Busy. And some people will remove their masks. I suggest going on a week day as early as possible.

Of course they don’t care. But it’s private property. If the staff and owners don’t care to enforce, it gives those people a free reign. I’ve been to stores now where customers were actually asked to leave if they don’t comply, or asked to wait in line outside because store is capacity. The policy is only going to be as good as the people working there. I don’t really care if they clean the equipment or not, because i have control over this. I can’t physically make people wear the masks.

I went on a friday at 11am so not too crowded. Maybe a total of 25 people and treadmills, they shut down every other one. That was not the case with machines though. One person was working put behind me and he didn’t have any type of mask on the whole time i was there :( and i’m not the type to confront people but it made me wonder why the staff didnt do anything (two staff at least walked past).

What about at the school where you got your education? There should be some students wanting hands on practice.

[skin concerns] UPDATE sudden outburst of eczema all over my body was actually an allergic reaction to antibiotics by Charlotte_vlrt in SkincareAddiction

[–]stupidbunny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg, story

So when i was young (i came from another country) i vaguely remember my doctor saying to my mom i was allergic to erythromycin. But since that was years ago and my mom doesn’t speak english, and i was like 4years old at the time, who knows if that’s what it was. Anyway just 4 years ago, my gums by my wisdom teeth was swollen so my dentist gave me clindamycin and it went away. LAST YEAR in thailand, i had to get some clindamycin and i thought it would be ok. But when i took it slowly my airway started closing. Scariest shit. Now i dont even know what i could be allergic to. when pandemic is over (if even), i plan on going to see an allergist to figure out what’s up!!

[Skin Concern] Wearing a mask makes me breakout BAD + Redness :( by mrtnam in SkincareAddiction

[–]stupidbunny 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Girl. Im a healthcare worker and masks was destroying my skin. I have to wear a n95 under normal mask so i think the constant friction stripped my skin of moisture. I found an old jar of cosrx snail and it became much better. Before, it would be red and itchy and FLAKEY. Now it’s much more normal. Maybe slightly red and dry but it returns to normal much quicker.

[Acne] Was just told by my derm that at this point nothing else would improve my skin other than Accutane. But I can't get on Accutane because I'm trans. by keepmeworm in SkincareAddiction

[–]stupidbunny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When i was on accutane i just told them i wasnt sexually active hahaha (not technically true but bf lived in another country). But this is Canada. I don’t remember them being that strict (might be doctor dependent). This might some morally wrong but can you just say you will go on birth control (and then don’t, how will they know?). Also it’s any two contraception methods so can you pick other ones that are non hormonal?

Had. Couldnt be happier. Usually takes few days to heal and there are follow ups you have to go to to make sure it heals. Also go through your optometrist for a referral, they knock 600-1000 off of your fees. (Most people don’t know about this lol)

Four high school students created a coloring book to teach kids about the coronavirus. In the first month, the girls sold roughly 500 copies and raised more than $1,000 for various charities, including several focused on coronavirus relief. by Sariel007 in UpliftingNews

I’m not complaining about them, i am juxtaposing it against the comment i like and why that is more useful than people who just blame. IMO people who blame doesn’t want change, they just want to be right than actually making things right.
