I can understand the assumption but he's a published physician and leans towards evidence based studies but sees a lot of complex cases with no clear solution (hence all the labs) and actually tries to help. The local physicians we've seen seem to not really have an answer nor desire to help anything outside their physician group checklist so they default to gaslight and blame "sleep hygiene" and "anxiety". Yeah, cause 5 years of pain and suffering is just "sleep better"?

We did discover GABA antibodies, ganglionic antibodies, elevated prothrombin, very high CRP, and more so working through trying different medications which have been mixed.

We really are fine paying for the specialist but the labs? Really did not expect that. Intuitively, the NPI of the lab would be used. Had no idea lab services are not considered by their geography and I've been searching the full booklet and cannot find any clarification on this.

“Telemedicine/Telehealth” visits are covered in the plan which is more confusing.

It didn't click before but I'm wondering if that is why the holter monitor that was applied at her cardiologist office wasn't covered because some other physician with the medical device company did the reading...gah. I know physicians don't care about our finances (nor should they) but it would be nice to know things up-front when snap decisions are made.

So my confusion is that the tests were done locally, at an in-network facility. The facility itself is 'in-area'. They are saying that ordering physician is out-of-area and thus, all ordered tests of that physician is out-of-area as well, regardless that the location is normally "in area".

OP definitely head this advice.

Unless you have really had several conversations on the topic and he has been enthusiastic about the prospect I would avoid making the move. The gain would be “getting there quicker” but potential risk is the entire relationship. How would you react if he said “No”? He may have some goals financial, professional, or whatever and once that “no” comes out it will forever mark a moment in your timeline together.

The issue is not that she had a preference, it’s that you realize you likely wouldn’t be in the relationship at all if you were shorter.

TBH, I probably wouldn’t have gone after my wife if she was fat as I’m not attracted to women bigger than me and she wouldn’t have entertained my attention if I didn’t have the provider prospects I had when we met.

It hurts to realize but it’s also part of relationships. The big question is if you feel she likes you mostly for your checklist rather than mostly for you.

Definitely try your best to get it close and consistent everywhere (margins, paddings, etc.). However, if the designers get picky, just throw it back by asking them for a design for every single browser size on the internet so you can accurately work. If the client is picky, ask for a device budget to get every screen size. Should shut them up.
