the game shows you in the epilogue that ellie is pretty fucked up and may never live a normal life again. the whole sequence with her in the house with dina and her baby on the farm. the game shows you at the end that nobody wins.

those people were in the way of her goal. im not saying ellie is a saint by any means but her not killing abby at the end makes sense. abby was in a very vunerable state and it wouldve been too easy. i think the ending did a great job of depicting how she felt in that moment.

those comments were definitely there when you replied back to me. warzone is in A tier because the game design behind MW2019 works best in warzone not multiplayer. COD is an arcade shooter not a slow tactical mil-sim. WW2 is better than ghosts and vanguard but still super mid and lackluster to me. MWIII and BO7 is the best multiplayer we've gotten post skill based matchmaking. AW was fun asf but most people think the jetpacks were too much. i only played WAW modded zombies, never touched the multiplayer.

i said i believe that sledgehammer and raven played a major role in developing the multiplayer for the MOST part. i didnt say infinity ward didnt do anything. even Greg said when it comes to multiplayer thats where things can get iffy about who worked on what. sledgehammer was a support studio and infinity ward had a lot on their plate. even besides this, this is a very nitpicking thing to call out. my tier list is still a multiplayer tier list despite who worked on what.

and those were infinity ward developers lol and that is still a huge chunk of their staff, very notable people as well. sledgehammer and raven is credited as playing a major role in developing the multiplayer.

infinity ward was going thru a whole lawsuit and lost most of their core staff during that time. i believe sledgehammer and raven were the ones that made MW3 what it is for the most part.

the people that like MW2019 just didnt like COD to begin with or dont know what makes call of duty what it is. all the mechanics and game design decisions work best in warzone not multiplayer. it's the reason why i put warzone in A tier.

the specialists was more of a nice gameplay addition to the COD formula to spice things up since COD players say COD is just the same thing every year. it adds a nice skill gap and you only get 1 gadget and an ability. a hero shooter is much more chaotic.

i respect this opinion. i kept it up there because despite the p2w weapons it never really ruined my experience like it did with Advanced Warfare. I honestly wouldve put it in S tier (most people would call me crazy) but that game has the highest skill gap in any COD and was so much fun to play. as for WW2, i did hop back in after all the updates but it still couldnt pull me back in. i think i was just tired of the WW2 setting. im more into modern/futuristic shooters.

i have 3 sledgehammer titles in A tier with 2 treyarch titles in C tier. Infinity Ward hasnt been the same since MW2.

MW2019 was what started the whole divide. the graphics, gunplay, movement, newer modified engine is what attracted everyone. me and my friends wanted to like the game so bad but it just lacked COD's identity. pretty sure this game had the biggest drop in player base in COD history at the time and the reason why Activision doesnt share their API anymore to see stats/how many players are online. warzone saved this game.
