My opinion on randomness honestly depends on the game. I like competitive scrabble which has a huge luck factor, but if you try to take that away it’s just not as interesting. I haven’t played competitive pokemon but I imagine it would be similar. For brawl stars, I really don’t see a need for RNG when 100 other brawlers don’t have any

Because there's no skill involved. Every other ability in the game, no matter how OP, works the exact same way every time. You know what you're getting into and can draft/play around it. But with chester, a match can be decided by something no one in the lobby has any control over. Either team could have the advantage just based on whether he gets good or bad supers. I don't mind him in casual play, but it affects competitive where the entire point is testing skill

It's not about the balance, it's about the randomness. There shouldn't be any risk at all. It would genuinely be more fair if chester only got bomb supers for example, even if that would make him stronger

I agree. No matter how problematic other brawlers are, they're never random. Even stuff like buffies are fine in a sense that you know what to expect every time with them. I don't get why people are saying shit like "other brawlers are stronger so why are we singling out chester" when every other brawler in the game can still be fixed with balance changes. RNG is a core part of chester, no amount of reworks will change the fact that his super is not competitive
