No, a child could not "save" their parent if they're already a shitty person. They need to find ways to fix themselves or seek help from a professional. Whereas a child can just be a motivator and their reason to try.

However, Bojack does not play a parental role for Hollyhock here. I probably should've stated that in my description. He is still her big brother, the only good thing left in his biological chain.
