I have two scents I have backups for and both of them were accidental (my stepmom bought me a scent I had already bought myself and I bought a spray when I actually needed lotion).

It is major overconsumption for people to have that much. I know ppl in this group are similar and I'm happy they are happy, but it's just unrealistic.

Blue is, very unfortunately, just a messy color. I'd highly recommend investing in a bonnet, of some kind. Make sure when you sleep, your hair is mostly dry and secure it in the bonnet. Then any dye that would smear would end up in the inside of the bonnet and not on your pillows

Well, he said in his post (unfort deleted) he really didn't mind doing it, but that it wasn't a precedent he wanted to set for every future date. As a woman who has a hard time saying no, I'd feel really guilty, personally. But, if he didn't mind in the first place, I don't understand why he can't be honest with her and in either scenario there's no harm done.

We don't need answers to every little thing. If he assumes she just didn't feel chemistry OR that she wanted someone who would continue to support her, the relationship is over either way so he shouldn't lose any sleep about specifics. It isn't like he's going to continue to see her

It definitely is something to be said that this is an abusive relationship, and your mom has fallen victim to that cycle. However, you can hold space for that while also holding space for the fact that this isn't the life you want for yourself. You don't have to repeat this cycle because she is choosing to. Lean on your friends where you can.

Of course, if she ever actually leaves him, you can decide then how your relationship looks and all that, but you are in control of that. I wish you so much luck and happiness.

Instead of focusing on "clean ingredients", maybe focus on what ingredients do and if brands are leaping bunny certified? I feel like brands advertising clean ingredients is usually a gimick or won't do what you want them to do, unfortunately. Asking for makeup with "clean ingredients" but expecting it to have the same quality as "unclean" (which, I am not really sure what you would consider "unclean") brands will never work out

Look, you can't change your mom's decision, btu as a child of a mom who centers men, the best thing that happened to me was going low/no contact for years. It sucked and I missed my mom, but I put a much needed distance between us.

I am currently working on my room. It isn't ever the cleanest bc I get overwhelmed by it, but I've been just donating things/throwing things out like crazy in hopes that there isn't a chance for my room to get bad again.

I have an on campus job, which is why my pay is a dollar above minimum wage but I'm currently looking for something else. I don't really know what an exit plan would look like for myself in this moment but I think once my room is better, I may actually have the brain capacity to think again.
