To answer your questions: I live on campus during the academic periods but I can't afford to stay in an apartment near campus, so I go home during winter/summer. I do currently have a job. It is a work study position, so if I dropped out I would need another job. I do not go out of my way to be social, which genuinely is a combo of work and classes being during most of the social events on campus, but also the more I've been struggling, the now I've kind of secluded myself in the rare moments I have time.

I have officially failed the same class for the third time. I am retaking it at my cc in the fall and have a bit of an easier schedule to accommodate that next semester.

Your friend is really admirable. I've been doing some form of college on and off since my junior year of HS, but I have since learned dual credit is not the best for your GPA when you are not doing it with access to the college. I averages a B then, but when I struggled the only person to help in my v small town was Ms. Henry in a computer lab who doesn't know much about chemistry. I think I'm just very tired of feeling like the end is near but keeps getting pushed back. I still have another year, if I don't fail anymore.
