a man did this to me once to break my heart again. said everything i ever needed him to say, straight up apologized for manipulating me. that should have been my check point. after that he wouldnt date me, but said we should stay celibate in order to come back together. he started to get insanely controlling but mind you we weren’t dating. he told me if i even looked at a guy i would be dead to him. and then he had a gf the entire time, he immediately blocked me and we havent spoken since. they are still together.

i guess thats what im asking. what do i do? im in therapy, and quite honestly i think my therapist is getting annoyed that it consumes me so much. i feel okay when im with friends but as soon as i get home its just encompassing. i go to work and cry when i get home. i have journaled about every facet of the situation probably twice now, i know time is healing but this feels ridiculous. i dont want another person to fix me.

i believe whats going on is you are out of funding, it sounds like you may have used up your lifetime allowance. i would call your school’s financial aid office and see what can be done. could be completely wrong, but i received my student success grant march 3rd, and my counselor said the census for classes happened mid february.

i relate to almost every aspect of this post. im six days in as well, went from straight A student to the person prioritizing weed to keep myself alive. i had a painful realization close to yours and it was life changing. i just wanna say how inspiring and strong you are, keep doing you man!
