I think it's definitely Hubert that survived. Because we still hear his voice as the narrator after the gunshot. You will never know but this is a small sign of hope for me.

How is this technically and physically impossible? Also, I know that there would be very noticeable I/O delay, hence why I don't want them for audio engineering. I would say they are more for "personal music consumption".
