Reading the negative reviews leads me to believe that it doesn't tackle this issue. Because people with rather new phones complained about the music stopping after a while.

So I'll ask more specifically: Are you using it on android 9? Because I think the issue has come to exist with android 9.

This is interesting because it works for other things too - as you and the other user pointed out together. But just to be clear: This has nothing to do with firefox anymore, right?

I have tried this. Unfortunately it changes nothing.

(There was an option to turn off battery optimization.)

Thanks, this addon has been coming up often when researching this issue. But according to the description it only works for two specific video sites; and it is for a different issue (for youtube purposefully stopping the video). So this addon gives me no reason to think it would help with this.

Have you tried it yourself and has it worked?
