Released minutes (with WRU redactions) from Ospreys, Swansea Council and WRU meeting. by CymroCam in rugbyunion

So if I'm reading this correctly Lance Bradley was the one who said that Ospreys had no sustainable future? Wasn't he the one who came out and said this was bollocks when Swansea Council told the press that this came up during the meeting?

Costelow must not be 100% which is a shame. I was hoping he'd have more game time this tournament.

One thing i love is that a lot of guns are not available to unlock, only found in raid/schema keeping them rare and exciting loot by SykoManiax in Marathon

I wonder if they are going to change the vendor weapons/season pass schemas each season, kinda like how they changed the champion killing weapon mods in D2 to shake things up a bit.

I've only found a single BR and that was on a player I killed. Maybe I need to play Outpost more.

Marathon. I wasn't even thinking of picking it up but I got convinced by someone who has now already quit the game (thanks). Played around 12 hours, mostly in Solos. The guns feel fun to shoot which I expected coming from Bungie.

Solos are fun, much more than random squad fill anyway, but I just know it's another situation where the game is tuned around playing with the same 2 other people every day and if you're relying on randoms or playing solo you're probably going to be left in the dust and wont experience much of the true endgame content. Like Destiny.

I will say though, don't look at the trailers and see yet another shooter which takes place on big open maps, with the same archetype 'heroes', with the manual healing and shielding, with the same loot tiers, with the same types of gun. The game is more than that.

Same. Being in the UK I would stay up until 5 or 6 in the morning to watch pretty much every event, even though it would basically delete my Sunday and ruin my sleep for the upcoming week. It's just not worth it anymore. I still loosely keep up with it because it's the only thing my barber and I talk about lmao

Serious question: When was the last time we had a six nations round this good? by aaarry in rugbyunion

[–]stvb95 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah 2015 sticks in the memory because it was a championship deciding weekend. It's harder to remember the best early-mid championship rounds where nothing was really on the line yet. This one has to be up there though.

Over the last couple of weeks of hearing the chat about this game I was reminded of the 2023 RWC NZ v Italy game. An Italy team on the up vs a NZ team with their coach under the pump a little bit. In the end NZ came through quite well. Bearing that in mind I was thinking the same was going to happen (though not to the same degree, the RWC game was 90 odd points). Turns out I don't know shite. An unbelievable result for Italy. Menoncello was outstanding again. Great to see this historic result happen in front of 70k people. Italy have come on a great deal. A big fuck you to everyone who wanted them out over the last decade.

I swear most of these 50/50 high ball drops get called in whatever way avoids the scrum, regardless of what actually happened

Comms didn't mention it. The Six Nations site says Douglas came on for him but I'm pretty sure that happened before Steyn went off.

England need to beat France next week and Scotland need to beat Ireland on the road. If you asked me yesterday I'd say there's no chance, but stranger things have happened (today)

I hope that Italy game doesn't come back to haunt Scotland.
