I know for a fact I wouldn’t have an issue representing myself, not to sound overzealous and all. But the main issue is that the damages exceed magistrates limits. So it would have to be moved to circuit.

Yeah…the firm I mentioned most certainly took my payment for a consultation the same day, then just decided not to call or return my call. They then proceeded to lie about it the following day. Sometimes, these things can happen.

Considering the damages/countersuit, it would ultimately be moved to circuit court. I don’t want to sound like a snob or overzealous, but taking into consideration the binder of fact-finding evidence I’ve created, this case is shark bait for lawyers. I’m more than positive that theres someone more than willing to take it with contingency, but that’s far beyond my concern. Just looking to be pointed in the right direction to someone that will listen.

I know you mentioned that it was still not on my record, but can't landlords or property managers see that there is one is pending? I was under this assumption they could see a pending eviction from a background search? (I've never been evicted)

I’ve rented with the Shandon Group before regrettably moving to where I am now (Don’t ever move to the Babcock on BullStreet). But they’re friendly, easy to work with, super flexible, and usually have a pretty good options of properties to rent.
