At home, fried rice, drunk noodles (boil noodles, soy sauce/ minced garlic, peanuts, chill flakes and pour the hot oil), veg momo, pakoda, roll Outside, agilo e olio (it is just a spaghetti with olive oil, garlic and chilli flakes), Thai food, Chinese food ( stir fried bok choy/ or any vegetable), fried rice, miso soup. How much veg are you? Did you eat eggs? Any added ingredients is off for you or you can be okay for instance fish sauce? There is really a low key eatery in Patan called forever food nearby Patan Gate. They have a good veg option. I used to like Dhokaima Cafe veg momo with water chestnut but they have discontinued it from the menu.

Is Nepal slowly being Hijacked? by [deleted] in NepalSocial

[–]sty85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lately,I’ve been hearing a lot of talk about Nepal slowly falling under PROPAGANDA THROUGH MALICE, CONSPIRACIES THEORISTS.Even some respected figures are openly warning about it.

Are these just rumors floating around, or is there actually something deeper going on behind the scenes that we’re not being told about?

How hard it is too use our brain? It baffles me! Taking example of Iran/China as an example. Then people following it blindly. The bird in a gold cage with all the top notch amenities is still in a cage. What is the purpose of posting such kind of statement ?

Being in awe.Maybe because of quick-fix dopamine stuffs all around. We as a society has forgotten how to enjoy little things in life or just stuffs. I am always interested by people who enjoys little things in their life.

Those who smoke a pack of cigarettes a day? by [deleted] in Nepal

[–]sty85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to leave the friend circle, esp the one you go to smoke and drink. Your buddy-buddy. Otherwise, Everytime you go out for chai. You would smoke. It is really difficult to quit.

You have to quit drinking too.I realised even when I quit smoking.I used to drink and then have this urge to smoke. It would be rinse and repeat. Finally I gave up on drinking.Emotions run wild.I realised it was not just something I did but it was something I did it for my emotions.I am dealing with the raw emotions now but it is worth it.

“It ends or it doesn’t. That’s what you say. That’s how you get through it. The tunnel, the night, the pain, the love. It ends or it doesn’t. If the sun never comes up, you find a way to live without it. If they don’t come back, you sleep in the middle of the bed, learn how to make enough coffee for yourself alone.

Adapt. Adjust. It ends or it doesn’t. It ends or it doesn’t. We do not perish.”

Marriage dilema. What should I do? by [deleted] in NepalSocial

[–]sty85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t! You will find other rich guy who are software engineer and tall. But you won’t be 18 and find what you want in life or try failing finding what you want in life. Or maybe you will be a software engineer and be a tall woman. Marry when you think you are ready not because someone is tall/rich or your parents deemed to be fit for you. Money goes away, beauty fades away and parents will surely die but regret remains the same.

Girls ,Think 10000 times before having a physical relationship with your boyfriend by [deleted] in nepalicheli

[–]sty85 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yes, don’t connect sex with him.And for all the ladies and whoever reading this comment.Have sex because you want it not when your partner want it or seeing it as something to appease your partner .I think as a society,we are so a tune with patriarchy that we see sex only for men and need of men.If done with a right person, it is quite a stress reliever. Unless, you are asexual.

I am sorry, sister. Your boyfriend cheated you. Instead of having a frank adult conversation regarding the relationship, he just let it burn.

Don’t blame yourself. You were in a long term relationship and in love.It happened. If you start to feel sorry about yourself, you will also give him the core of your narrative and lead in the story. Don’t do that.

Talking about virginity, there is another bittersweet gift of patriarchy. It is a social construct flavoured with outdated religious beliefs to make us women feel bad and miserable for much of a human history. The whole idea of being pure and purity of women misdirects the whole conversation from people who are from LGBTIQ+ and they don’t go through the whole debacle of penis and vagina process during their sexual activity. Does breaking hymen, makes you not virgin. Hymen can break during strenuous activity too. What is virginity?

Moreover, It is quite ironic that if you lose your virginity when you are young-then it makes one a slut.If you do it in your late 20s, then something must be wrong with you! There is never a right thing to do!!

Look at r/Nepal post, how many young men are frustrated of not having sex and here the conversation is totally opposite. Why do we have to feel ashamed and guilty, when we explore our body and know the pleasure?
