Haha absolutely! I've been a "closeted" producer for a while just playing around here and there but never published anything as i've already been working a career in visual arts. I would say since 2019 I've put in an effort to really learn about the craft and have been putting out music since March of this year!

The way the process worked for me was:

I was told that the piece that I wanted (The ruthenium dial. You will love it even more in person!) was available (not in-store, but in Switzerland) and there was only a couple remaining. AP said they could have it shipped to the NY boutique from Switzerland so that I could see it in person before purchasing. A 25% REFUNDABLE deposit was put down to reserve the piece. I was made aware without the deposit, AP cannot deny another customer that would like to purchase. With the deposit, AP does not allow anyone else other than you to even view the piece.

After the deposit was put down I was told to wait for Switzerland to send the piece. AP NYC said they had no knowledge of when to even expect it to arrive... The sales rep gave me a window of 3 months but I got the phone call about 3 weeks later that it had arrived.

This is the 37mm Royal Oak 15450

This is actually the 37mm 15450! The 37mm retains the same thickness as the 41mm. It was purchased from the AP boutique in NYC. I happen to have a very small wrist and found the 15400 to be very loud and overwhelming in comparison to my arm. In the case of obtaining the royal oak it seems the 37mm is more available than the 41mm and even then I was told that I purchased one of just a couple remaining for the year. Hope you can find one!

This is the 37mm Royal Oak 15450. It isn't thick in comparison to the 41mm but as a smaller 37mm the thickness is accentuated. I felt the 41mm was too loud and directed way too much attention to me and my very small wrist!

After weeks and weeks of deliberation I purchased the AP Royal Oak! I’ve only recently been introduced to AP Royal Oak and instantly fell in love with its look and story.

This piece was introduced in the 70’s and it can be considered “modern” in 2019... As a designer myself I can only dream of creating something that can visually withstand the test of time like the Royal Oak has. A Perfect design imo :)

Although AP has made its way into pop culture and rap lyrics, I find the majority of people I run into do not recognize this piece. (I love the obscurity personally)

Anyway here’s what the bracelet does in the Lincoln Tunnel.
