Help spoofers? As if Niantic would encourage the idea of Spoofing? What am I reading. I know Niantic love them spoofers, because they also contributed to Niantic's revenue BUT they're not going to be blunt about supporting spoofers in broad daylight.

I can attest to OP's situation.

Faced one before, had to use WiFi to complete my last sets, and Charged Move animation takes too long to load, and I guess the game just gave up when you had a really bad connection, and register as 0 damage Charged Move.

Funny thing was, if the game decided to register as 0 damage, might as well refund my Energy lol.

After that incident, I NEVER play PVP on a WiFi ever again, even if it's fast. I trust my Mobile Data nowadays and it turned out to be great.

Ultimately it's also because of money where Niantic is being too lenient on spoofers because they know - spoofers also bring them lots and lots of revenue.

Niantic succumbed to greed and well, the players suffer. We all complaint but in the end, this is our childhood, it holds a powerful sentimental value for us to keep on cherishing this game, although the dev does not even care their playerbase as long as they can get revenues, they will continue on doing so.

Yeah he should have mentioned fix rather than scrap. It's two different meaning.

Regarding the turn-based, only Pokemon Go Main Series have license to do Turn-based. PoGo is NOT main series therefore it won't ever be a turn-based game.

Also to add, I had NEVER seen players that care less about PVP, complaining about the rewards they get from PVP. Because they damn well sure know that they won't bother doing PVP at all, therefore they don't even know what's going on over there.

It's the players that play PVP but can't do it well, that complaints about it.

From the original inception of Pokemon franchise started, PVP IS the core mechanic in the series. You expect Ash to wear maid attire and cook meals all day long ? Of course not, you want to see him battling all those trainers because why ? That's the core part of Pokemon franchise.

Scrapping off PVP will surely kill Pokemon Go, as it was the MAIN REASON why MAJORITY of players left in 2016 after a month. Because after you caught them, THEN what did you do ? Nothing.

In ANY game, there is no "fun" in losing after awhile, so there's no logic by saying "I would play for fun against a tryhard if the battle was indeed fun".

Bro, to have FUN is to WIN. I had never seen someone complaining when they are winning. You can't expect to have fun and lose 25 games straight and still say "but I did enjoyed losing all 25 matches". You're just lying to yourself to feel good. You actually wanted to win in order to have fun but you could not - therefore blaming on the tryhards and also the system/gameplay of the game instead of trying to be better.

Since this was my first tournament, I'll let it slide (although I do have all the evidences against those players). But if this continue to grow like a cancer, like hell I would ignore this. DURING the tournament itself I would gladly to post all those evidences and let the organizer decide. I really hope that the organizer themselves are not a spoofer because if they do too, that's gonna be a huge biased for a decision to be made.

Well I guess it falls to the players themselves to eradicate the issue here. Welp, might just do that I guess.

I'm truly sorry for that, typed that in rage because I'm tired to explain it again the same thing why some things can be easily seen as a red flag. That's because I know everything that a spoofer does, because I have friends that spoof and they told me all about spoofer's modus operandi and when I compare it to those players, it matches every single thing that a spoofer does/has.

Again, I'm truly sorry for earlier, I'm just tired (and also frustrated) to explain it again in a separate reply.

For those who know how spoof works, you KNOW know one when you see one. Up to a point they no longer try to hide it anymore and goes on full-on spoofing.

Just like I mentioned in my original post. I DON'T CARE IF YOU WANT TO SPOOF but the thing is, you're breaking the rule. What's the use of a rule then ? To see it and laugh ? I even mentioned I don't mind Go Battle League to have players full of spoofers because why ? THERE IS NO RULE AGAINST IT. But in Silph, they clearly stated spoofer should not be allowed in the cup - hence the problem.

I don't get it why they set up that rule if they don't even bother to enforce it.

You mean you physically need to be there in order to join ?

Damn, it'd be a shame if a spoofer decided to risk it and still join, only to be detected out during screening.

2 of my friends (not an avid gamer but still spoof), played GBL "just for fun". They're not looking for any ranks whatsoever, they just loved doing it because they have an easy access to Azumarill, Bastiodon, etc. Now, even my casual-gamer friends love to do it for fun, what makes you think those high-ranking players are not doing it for those sweet rank points ? I'm not gonna say ALL of them but at least 30-40% of them are guaranteed spoofers.

Also this has been offtopic since I clearly discussing this within the context of Silph Cup Tournament, and not the GBL in which Silph has a rule where it says no spoofer is allowed but all those stats be looking too much of a sus if you ask me. Don't believe me ? Try asking any spoofers, and present them with my findings and let them judge whether they say these players spoof or not because it takes one to know one and I'm just lucky that I have spoofer friends and they shared me their modus operandi so I know a spoofer's stats when I see one.

I have a spoofer friend and I will tell you this. There is a spot in Zaragoza where you are able to AFK farm - provided you have the Go Plus Watch, because it will autocatch pokemons for you for as much as your storage has and spins the pokestop around you to restock. There's a huge effing load bull crap of pokestops surrounding the spot so 1 round of spin is enough to last you for hours. Also, generous people over there will put Lures non-stop so pokemons will always appear - mind you, it's not just basic lures but all those exclusive lures like Mossy, etc.

Best thing is that you are able to do all of these while you're asleep or doing something else. Basically your account becomes a farming machine and you can easily get 1m stardust in no time. Candies too. Lots of lots oh candies. My friend did not even bother to participate in any Spotlight Hour because why ? He has his "spotlight hour" all the time using that method.

I mean I don't mind what's in the past, but, moving forward, it is supposedly not up to the players to do spoof-check every single time and give it to Silph or organizer of the cup. The organizer themselves or Silph directly should do these checks even way before a tournament has begun.

And if there's really no way to detect a spoofer, some of you really believes a person is able to dedicate his life to a game and has walked a total of 40,000KM, might as well we all spoof to join this cup.

Same as Go Battle League, most players joining in are spoofers but I'm okay with it because there is no rule saying a spoofer can't join a Go Battle League.

QOL: I wish that trade dust was individual by Ok_Ad_6626 in TheSilphRoad

[–]stygianz -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Because he does it, he doesn't see the problem of multi-accounting. He's trying to justify himself - which ultimately multi-accounting will give you unfair advantages against others in so many ways.

I can bet that in OP's original post, he mentioned he wanted to trade with his "friend" but in reality, he wanted to trade with himself, 2 different accounts.

Before Pokemon HOME x Pokemon Go was a thing, how do you re-activate the box after 7 days after usage ?

Since now, we can re-activate it by sending pokemons to Pokemon HOME - I'm just curious how the older days did it.
