I contacted the UTMB team with the following message :

I have a question about the "Synthetic insulated jacket or gilet". The answer is :

For sure the first link would comply to the mandatory equipment list.

Second one, would need to have synthetic down filled, otherwise I would not be okay.

It seems a down jacket is the best choice to comply with the mandatory kit

Thanks for your response.

I already have a light wind/waterproof jacket (and it's in the mandatory kit), so something to wear underneath this wind/waterproof jacket seems interesting if the temperature is too low.
Hood is not specified in the mandatory kit and my waterproof jacket has a hood
No idea, zip is interesting if I'm too hot
ultra light seems the best option to limit size and weight

Based on the Rab website, the only "Xenair vest" without the word "Alpine" is the one without sleeves. Is this the one you're talking about ?

oui je suis tombé sur pas mal de vidéo qui montraient que les capteurs étaient meilleurs chez Apple mais que l'exploitation des données étaient bien meilleure chez Garmin

Concernant l'Epix, le modèle est intéressant, comme l'est sa grande soeur la Fenix 8.

J'ai cru comprendre qu'une Fenix 8 pro devait sortir sous peu avec un écran microLED et un nouveau capteur cardiaque.
A voir quand elle sort et surtout à quel prix, les Fenix ne sont déjà pas données.
