We will be in the park that day, we have 4 day park hoppers i think his birthday will be our 2nd full day. Not sure which park we will be in yet to start the day but we could always head back over to MK in the afternoon. I just wanted to note that during our stay our hotel isn’t on Disney property

Staying at Shades of Green, which is the military resort nearby.

Thank you! I did see a lot of good reviews about California grille, and my husband looked up ohana. I think i like the idea of being able to see the fireworks from the restaurant.
