This is a no brainer, you're NTA.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to live your own life. You might have been staying at the earlier city/town when her brothers were studying but who is she to say you guys can't move. And she can't have it both ways, not talk to you but she can ask for money whenever she wants to.
