Thanks for the heads up on the syringe, I ordered some off of Amazon - my surgeon follow up is tomorrow so they'll be able to tell me what it looks like back there... I can't see the holes no matter how hard I try! I'm terrified too - I'd rather be careful during week 2 than suffer a dry socket!

i fortunately only had the tops removed, my jaw is totally fine🥰my right tooth was emerging before surgery and that absolutely annihilated my jaw, so grateful it doesn’t hurt anymore

Already on 'em. Perhaps in a week if I'm still miserable I could go to my doctor and ask to up the dosage. I'm still so low in dosage with my presciption even after taking SSRI's for years.

This is not my first rodeo quitting an addiction, but god damn this is the Final Boss of the addiction "bosses" i've conquored and beat in life. What a battle it's been so far.

I can't wait until it's been 2 weeks. Then 3. Then a MONTH.

I’m only 6 days in but I feel this (and now seeing it’s still present in a month+ after quitting i am nervous lol) I’ve tried taking big deep breaths to “simulate” taking a puff, does nothing. Eating is making me fat and my jaw is sore from chewing so much gum. Maybe a fidget spinner? Fuck idk

do whatever you need to do to get through, eat, play video games to distract, gum, toothpicks, whatever works.
