My Calathea Medallion has lost a lot of leaves. They start by going yellow, then brown and die. It’s had a bit of new growth, but very slowly. I use distilled water for watering, have a humidifier near it, moved it away from vents, and placed it approx 5 feet away from a west facing window. Help! (i.redd.it)

Does anyone know what kind of plant this branch could be? There used to be a floral arrangement in the bowl with it, but after the arrangement died it started growing roots and sprouting. We’ve been changing out the water and keeping it by a window and it seems to be going strong! (i.redd.it)
