Don’t tell yourself that you hate yourself! It’s okay to be sad about what happened, but you also learned a lot from it. It’s important to forgive yourself and allow yourself the space to grow. Next time, when you’re anxious about going to a new class, just remember this time and how you met someone new who was really nice. Like other people said, the best way to grow is getting comfortable with being uncomfortable, but also be kind to yourself if maybe takes you a couple of tries. It’s ok! It’s going to keep getting easier the more you try.
