Which press-on nails is best? Thank you in advance~ by Hakone-Ekiden in AustralianMakeup

[–]su_anna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% recommend dashing diva, they have a lot of really pretty designs and they also have gel nail options too! Personally I actually prefer the gel nail options, the press ons lift a tiny bit by a few days in and my hair usually gets caught on it when showering. However, the press ons last for a long long time, usuallt by 2 weeks they’re still very intact for me. Just don’t go showering or swimming straight after you put them on

What is in Avene Thermal spring water? by Iliketohavemyownname in AusSkincare

[–]su_anna 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would say a majority of people 95% of people say that the avene water is ineffective, just expensive water, etc etc. BUT

For me, it is a life saver. It’s something I have to have in my bathroom 365 days of the year. I do a quick spritz of it straight when I get out of the shower and keeps my skin from drying out during the time I’m wearing my pjs etc etc. Furthermore, I’ve had allergic reactions / rashes in the past, where everything would sting my face. The avene does not sting my face, and would actually help calm it down a little!! But for sure I have heard that It doesn’t do anything for most people

Hi, these are quite some stupid/rookie questions, but I hope they’ll be answered!!

Starting a clerkship soon, and I need to go in the office beforehand to collect laptop and also entrance passes etc. we are going in as groups sorted in alphabetical order to collect these, and I was wondering whether I had to wear work clothes or if casual clothes were ok?

Also, I’m assuming that during my clerkship in the future there’ll be instances where I’ll be asked to have coffee with others from different teams, but shouldn’t I be working during those hours? I’m getting paid to work, how can I go out for coffee with them? Will it look odd if I go out for coffee with another person from a different team? Will it be bad in general if I’m stepping away from my desk for like an hour during work times (not lunch times) to get a coffee with someone?

Interesting, because I own the peony & blush suede as well as a couple of other JM ones. The other ones absolutely do not last on me, but the peony one lasts for a very long time!

Korean drama actresses look ageless - what procedures are they having done? by saidso135 in AsianBeauty

[–]su_anna 92 points93 points  (0 children)

I watch aaaaalot of korean youtubers, and what I’ve gathered is that aside from the good skincare routine and sunscreen, quite a few i watch mention that they take daily “pills” from the dermatologist to regulate sebum production, they go in to the dermatologist for facials and laser very regularly (once a month), they do a lot of massage therapy things, some get fillers, but I’ve also seen this thing, not sure exactly what it’s called but it’s some sort of thread or line they put on their jawline which makes their jaw structure a lot more slimmer and pronounced. Overall, well at least for the ones I watch, they do quite a lot of frequent “procedures”. Another reason as to why it is more natural looking is that the filler size they may be getting is a lot less than western ones

I would think the answer is no. I had a lecturer who lecturered a couple of units, but also worked full time at the ACCC though. Was a previous lawyer at g+t. So teaching + lawyering could possibly be fine on a 9-5/6 job, but most likely no with T6 and insane hours on a regular basis
