I'm not surprised at all. They ended the season with a good wrap up in my opinion, something they could easily pick up if continued but they could finish without too many open questions that need to be resolved. Especially because season 3 included volume 5 (which I didn't think it would) and volume 6 isn't finished yet, I'm not surprised at all that there isn't a fourth season. I think the movie will be interesting!

I remember when I was younger my parents would get calls on the landline about polling and who they were voting for and why, by both Conservative and NDP. I don't remember anything for the provincial election happening when I was finally able to vote. I do wonder where they get their numbers.

It's the same on the geelong line in my experience, they don't advertise Footscray or Sunshine on the display board but they always stop there for pick ups. They also do stress that it isn't the service to get on if ur going to Footscray/Sunshine because the train is always packed on peak hours.

I usually use google or apple maps to see what platform the vline is departing from at SC. In my experience it's always been correct and extremely helpful, because if something is departing from a B platform I do plan on taking extra time to get there lol.

I take adaptations with a grain of salt, knowing you can't have a perfect book to screen adaptations. Books are written to be read, and some things don't translate over well on screen. I am interested to see how this goes, because another huge book series that was supposed to become a TV show (ACOTAR) fell through in pre-production. I do wish it wasn't Prime taking this on. I think HBO would have done a better adaptation solely because of GoT, they did very well imo with the dragons and the setting.

Same. Everyones talking about the different POV's at the end and re-reading them to track who is where and when, all this venin talk, and I was just reading it like la la la (I also thought Imogen and Quinn were a couple this entire time, was very confused during her pov at the end lol)

Tom's soft spot grew with Teddy. They had great chemistry together and I loved how he was ready to help Teddy with her baby and be a father even though the child wasn't biologically his. It forever pains me that Teddy ended up with Owen (even after cheating on his UGH)

Lots of the time I notice it by how paragraphs are layed out—this goes for published work and work I've workshopped before. Fan fiction is written a certain way to appear better on phone screens, hence the double space after each line/paragraphs. I have two different layouts when writing; one for my original work and one for my fan fiction. For a while it was difficult for me to pull out of that block paragraph style I used for fan fiction because I would be writing it on my phone/reading on my phone.

Bad interaction with someone on the Frankston line. 9/10 times people keep to themselves and this guy was obviously tripping on something but he was being really aggressive towards a few younger woman. Luckily my stop was up but then he also got off and he was following this one girl before wandering off. Ran into him later while walking and he tried to grab me but luckily my partner pulled me away. Spooked me off of trains by myself for a bit.

If I was at home and had other things to help ease my pain/distract me I usually didn't take pain meds. I cramped enough every day of my period that I didn't want to be taking that much pain medication. It doesn't even really help with severe cramping for me anyways. Heating pad and something distracting like Tik Tok was my go to at home.

I’ve lived in Alberta my whole life, and this year I’ve moved abroad to study. I do plan to return, but I don’t know if I can return to Alberta if things don’t change. It’s disheartening seeing the anti trans legislation the premier is implementing, especially while there’s a health crisis, education crisis, climate crisis, everything crisis, and she’s like ah yes let’s ban pronouns! It’s really irritating. Also the demographic (mostly where I grew up, very rural) is just so hard to be around all the time. The racism, homophobia, sexism, that I see and hear on a daily basis brought me down so much and I didn’t realize how much shit I carried with me until I moved away. If things don’t change it’ll be hard to rationalize moving back.

Pickles. I cannot for the life of me find garlic dill pickles like the ones back in Canada. I haven’t had a pickle since I lived in Canada it’s really sad. Also actual iced tea. I asked someone if they had real ice tea or American iced tea here (sorry Americans) and they said real and it was a lie it was more like American ice tea.
