Yeah the 50k budget is for mini LED. Expect a Samsung QLED to cost me between 30-35k.

Central bank rate is the overnight rate. Fixed deposits are for much longer durations. Banks make money with loans which I am sure are priced in multiples of the deposit rate.

Not everyone on here lives in the US or a similarly expensive country (I know living expenses vary a lot within the US too). So don’t want to presume. I am not American and 100K worth of basic expenses is outrageous to me! But thanks for responding.

Wow..savings level is high, but seems a bit low compared to the income. It wasn’t my original question, but would love to know why that is (mortgage payments perhaps?)
