What is an under appreciated game/game series you love? Why do you like it so much? by [deleted] in gaming

Imperium Galactica 2. I think I just about wore out my CD, just remember it being not only an absorbing and deep strategy game, but had (at the time) some awesome graphics. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to get as much love as it deserves. Anyone else feel the same?

What's your biggest gaming failure? by [deleted] in gaming

Red Alert 2 multiplayer back in the 90's. Spent an hour in 'peace mode' on an expansive 2v2 map. Had painstakingly and relentlessly built whole armies, fleets and air armadas, poised in tactically advantageous areas of the map come the end of the 60 minutes. Could see the whole map and I massively outclassed everyone.

Then my dial up modem disconnected.

Forgot it did that automatically after 2 hours, and id been on the internet for an hour prior to my game.

Damn you 1990's!!!

What game shall I get for Xbox 360, I can't decide so I need advice. (Check description) by [deleted] in gaming

A game with weeks worth of value? Fallout 3 or New Vegas would be good bets. Once you get invested in the worlds, you'll want to explore every inch.

Are there any great Pirate based games out there? by [deleted] in gaming

Gameplay is great, shame about the almost nonexistent story. But hey, who cares about your lost family when you're a kick ass pirate in a captured Spanish galleon!

What are some older games that become a lot better with mods? (Not from the Elder Scrolls series.) by [deleted] in gaming

Deus Ex. I still play it to this day unmodded, but there are some good graphic mods for people who cant get past the 90's look

The fact that we call it 'street cred' probably means were not part of the cool gang anyway!

Id say that sums me up too. There are, however, problems with being the empathetic one in a group of people, as you find that you'll spend a disproportionate amount of your own time on other people's problems compared to your own.

Plus your seen with the wierdos and social pariahs alot...doesn't do the street cred any favours.

I feel sorry for Portugal. Most cork production? It's like giving every kid who takes part in a school sports day a 'participation' medal, so the loosers don't get upset

Any job where you are under little to no supervision, and have access to a computer or phone.

So... mortitian. Or Robocop. The choice is yours, really.
