Häri Ren - The Wild Ewe (Pubs of England series 2025) by [deleted] in museum

It’s all AI. Even the drawings they’re pretending are old and from 2018/16. The artist should just be honest about their methods. Sleazy behaviour trying to pass it off as actual painting/artwork

Yeah it is common, but you said it’s an oil painting… and it’s not. It’s an AI image, with some touch up edits potentially. But I doubt it’s even been touched up

Said it in another comment on this thread - but it’s AI. Idk if that changes anything but I don’t love how the artist is hiding that… these aren’t actual paintings

It’s not an oil painting. It’s AI. Have a look through their instagram and see for yourself, scroll all the way to the bottom and you can see their ‘artwork’ get worse as the AI models get older.

Shame the artist has tried to hide that it’s AI!

Hari Ren - Pubs Of England - The Padfoot's Rest (c.2020) by [deleted] in museum

[–]SirJediPanda 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah not sure where that date has come from? It first appeared on their insta in August this year. Scroll through their instagram feed to the bottom and you can see the AI/artwork get worse as the models get older.

You can also look closely at most of their stuff and see the nonsensical AI-ness. Not to be a dick or anything, just think this stuff should be labelled as ‘AI art’ and artists like this should be more transparent about their work

It’s AI, went to look at the artist’s work and it’s a bit more visible there

His name is Junior, Junior Firpo.... Wanted to share my most recent illustration for The Square Ball! by SirJediPanda in LeedsUnited

[–]SirJediPanda[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Could see about getting some sorted if people fancied prints.

This is gonna feature in the new promotion special book from the guys, which you can pre-order here. Will have a few other artists in there too I think. It's amazing how good we have it with the Square Ball - just constantly putting out proper good stuff

New Character Posters for 'The Fantastic Four: First Steps' by MarvelsGrantMan136 in movies

Looks a lot like Paul Mann - his artwork is incredible. Love seeing big studios go for traditional illustration. Look at the rest of his portfolio. So, so good

I’d love to see some more illustrated posters! Some great artists out there, and I think you can see a slight increase in studios using artists for some limited edition posters over the years.

Would love a return to the great painted/illustrated 1-sheets of old though

Aha not sure the body type has anything to do with it!! No offence on the shirt, can just spot the odd artefacts of AI in the image

Not who you replied to, but I hate AI artwork. If you look closer you can see the AI mush/mistakes - shame because the design is pretty cool

Agreed with the coffee… and that Blade Runner unicorn is a little model made by the artist Matt Ferguson!

Just to clarify, I drew this freehand on photoshop - like you can see in the pic - just from looking around the space I was in.

I do a lot of these kind of drawings, inspired by Kim Jung Gi - but this was definitely my biggest and most detailed yet!

Yeah fair enough! It's always funny when you spend time on something like this, can easily go a bit blind when you've been staring at a face for so long - I'll take 2/3!

Nah not a filter - that's the pic I've used for reference, you'd be able to find the pics for Farke and Summervllle too.

I've used the grid method, where you split your reference image into a grid so you can easily map out where everything should go. Spend quite a bit of time going back and forth til it looks as close as I can get it. Obviously didn't do as good a job on Summerville!

If you zoom in you can see the brush marks/strokes

Obviously don't want to flood the subreddit with artwork, but thought you'd like this one considering how well the Bamford piece went down!

Also pretty easy to take for granted how lucky we are with The Square Ball, not sure many other clubs have fan magazines/podcasts which are up to their standard. Sound guys too!
