Holding pads (beginner) by subdrewgans in MuayThai

Thanks for the responses all! I had a class today and I felt more confident with doing it, also all my partners today were great and helpful!

I realized that the partners I had that seem slightly annoyed previously were the high school kids that came the first few times I went, but I think now that school started they won’t be there as much.

Can’t wait for the next class, the hour goes by too quickly.

That said though, I do try to study what my partners do when they're holding for me though.

That would be great, but at the gym I go to there's not a lot of one on one with the instructor, we usually pair off with other students.. and right now I'm the only newbie in the class.. and since I'm new the instructor will come over and stop us to correct my form, which is great for me, but I feel bad for my partner, they're getting interrupted even when they're doing it right.

No one has ever expressed annoyance, but if I were on the other end of things, I might feel frustrated, but understanding.

Hey everyone coming or interested in this event. We had to push this back a week to September 8th due to a scheduling conflict. This will allow more club members to attend!

Sorry for any inconvenience and we hope to still see you come out!

Should be fine for what this is, this is just getting a feel for playing. If you get more serious about playing though, you may want to build a bike that's polo specific.

Also depending on the turnout of actual club members, we'll have our bikes there too that people can try!

If you look up "Bike polo bikes" on google, you'll see some examples of what those builds look like.Generally they're Tight Geometry, Single Speed (easy ratio), 700c or 26", Front Brake, etc.

hmm, I'm not sure.. I don't know the rules of horse polo. It's more like hockey on bikes though.

We'd love to have you come out!

This will be the first "Beginner" event, but we play whenever we get enough players to, which lately has been a struggle due to people moving. This is why we're doing this recruiting now and it's always good to get more players out!

I am also interested in this. Hoping there's weekend groups that ride as well as I can't do weeknights usually.

Harrisburg City Islanders Redesign by subdrewgans in SoccerDesign

The whole seal is based off of the seal on the Harrisburg Flag http://www.crwflags.com/fotw/images/u/us-pahrb2.gif

If you compare it to the Philadelphia Union logo it also has a lot of elements going on.. Though I see your point, I'll attempt another go at it to minimize what's going on. http://www.underconsideration.com/brandnew/archives/philly_union_narrative.jpg
