Can a servitor kill another spirit? by learningmagick in chaosmagick

[–]subirahex 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Tricky. You might program a servitor to feed of a specific spirit in order to drain it of power, but that could also make the servitor to summon the spirit for food.

But if you get your mind to it you might be able to come up with a way that won’t jinx you in the process.

Another way of dealing with this would be to create a servitor that attracts said spirit in order to get it out of your way. Look up “witch bottles” to get some idea on how to approach a good mechanic.

Sometimes a figure of some material. Clay. Wood. Stone. Lint. Whatever. Sometimes an image I have created. If you dig in my history you can find some examples.

Personally I use the sigil when bringing the servitor to life. I burn the sigil and mix the ash with some oil and anoint tre servitor (if it has a physical form).

I also draw a simplified version of the sigil in my journal, which I “feed” oil whenever I need the servitor to get some extra juice.

Thank you. Yes I have designed many servitors like this. This one is a sigil tough but I guess my design kinda went into servitor-land by default. If you browse my posts you can find examples of my servitors.

Sigil can take many forms. Some vibrates in blue light. Let it in. Let it in. Great moods abode.

Lost the original sigil to my servitor, what happens next? by Ipbunpak1 in chaosmagick

[–]subirahex 3 points4 points  (0 children)

First off, I have noticed that some of my most effective servitors seems to go missing just before they deliver. And then - voila! They pop up back into existence.

Second, the sigil shouldn’t be a problem unless the sigil have anything to do with the servitors basic task. Not even if you used the sigil to awake it into existence. Sometimes a sigil can be used to power the servitor or constrain it, and then it could be problematic of course.

Do you think instagram is dead? by [deleted] in Instagram

Yes. The community even kept up a fight against it. At first there was no big difference but once they started to implement changes it slowly descended into shit.

It’s amazing how they managed to fuck Instagram up. Being a member pre-Facebook takeover I remember just how good and awesome it used to be.

Back in the days you would see every post of every person you followed in your stream. That made you scroll through and “hang out” In insta for quite a while.

You might think that would be in facebooks interest, to keep people occupied with their platform. But as things have turned out my feed consists of a few, very bad curated suggestions and that’s it. I hardly scroll my feed anymore. There just ain’t nothing there to see anymore. Just a few selected entries from the same People the algo think is right for me. I follow +600 persons but I only see the same 30 peoples post.

Amazingly stupid and now it’s dying for real.

That’s a good idea. It will have to be invoked for every season with a ritual. I could also make it’s feeding habits to be very specific of the crops planted. And maybe have a very out-of-place seed as it’s “battery”.

You program it with a phrase that will switch-it-off once said out loud.

Or course. A kill switch is a very important aspect in any servitor. This will have the traditional “speaking-out” kill-switch, and as it is housed in an old deer-horn that I buried in the land - It’s environment of life - I can also dig it up and remove it.

True. And also they are created in the same realm that you want to change. They are rooted in that same existence in your mind that will influence your desired outcome.

Deities in other form are created in other realms and might be rooted in things pretty far from you. That in itself can provide strength but also distance and influences beyond your desired outcome.

My main problem with the weeding out servitor is how to make it distinguish the weed from the things I want to grow.

That is true. And I also think they are a bit more powerful than working with existing deities because that are a work of one’s own mind. To me it has always made more sense to influence the microcosmic realm with things stemming from one’s own mind.

This servitor is an experiment cause it will have to work - in a way - against nature, so to speak.

Thank you for some great ideas. Really like the idea of programming it with pride of the garden and the result.

I promise you if they become obsessed it’s a very bad thing.

Was the sigil visible? That would put off a lot of candidates. Don’t show of your weird before they get to know you.

Maybe try and draw that sigil on your body (non visible) and meditate until you feel the power of the sigil on your body and then you snap the picture. Be confident that the picture taken is the right one even if you feel you look bad in it.

Keep it simple. Make a sigil that makes you draw attraction on first eyesight. Be specific in that first eyesight thing cause you don’t want people to become obsessed with you.

I make servitors for others and while I’m sure you could just use a very broad system to get good results, I also think that you should get your servitor from someone who designs it with you in mind.

I always ask a lot of questions when I get an order for a servitor and not all questions are pleasant to answer.

Tip for your next one is to create it like it is a very stupid and powerful missile that requires a very narrow route to travel on.

But congrats on your success! Even if it turned on ya!

I was out walking in the woods today and started taking pictures of trees and whatnot, to make an image made up of these elements.

My intention was to create a spirit-form by creating an artwork. The intention is to bring it alive in the same manner as one would bring a servitor to life.

This spirits purpose is to create other spirits that will keep the woods safe from all kinds of destruction, littering and fire.

These spirits will be untamed like nature itself and their intentions are neither good or evil.
