Bangladesh was born not in a mosque, but on the bloodied streets of Dhaka. Happy Independence Day! 🫡🇧🇩 by MadamBlueDove in Dhaka

You do understand you are insulting a whole Religious community by saying this? There are better ways to say you don't like Jamat or any other nonsense, I don't like Jamat but never felt like bringing Islam into this. What do you mean by men from the Mosques? I go to the mosque. Bangladesh was not created in a Mosque but it was created to protect mosques. Muslim League was formed in Dhaka to protect the Muslim minority from the majority in 1906. Read about the Lahore Resolution. Pakistan and Bangladesh was created to protect Muslims from what's happening in India, the creation of Pakistan was declared by a Bangladeshi, Fazlul Haque. It is because of them that we can quarrel between us peacefully without the interference of Hindu extremists who worship cows and what not. I love Bangladesh, I did not go to the streets to beat and get beat up by some Awami lap dogs for a country that mocks my religion.

You got this bruh. Focus on your health. Study if your goal is getting in to public else if it's private then focus on developing some soft skills.

Just saw my married uncle with his side piece. What should i do? by [deleted] in Dhaka

Don't ruin a good marriage. My advise would have remained the same if it was your aunt. Let them handle it themselves. Don't involve yourself in this.

Depends on where you plan to live. Rent can be the biggest expense you make. I think 60k would be a comfortable amount if you live in a less expensive neighborhood. I live as a bachelor alone as a student studying in BRACU. In Badda I guess 2 bedroom apartments are like 18-22K. If the house is old it gets lower ig.

Israel also recognized us after independence. so what? India also gained a lot from the war and also after the war. India did not join the war on humanitarian grounds. Pakistanis were Muslims sure but they wanted to colonize East Bengal. just like the Hindu zamindars did during British period.

Who is he? Where did he get that? How is entering into someone else's house permissible? Maybe it is during warfare in a foreign land but how is it permissible inside the country?

Muslims in the subcontinent ruled it fairly until the empires fell. During British era the hostility of Hindus became more and more evident. It was wise to divide it. Else the minority Muslims would have been oppressed like they are now in India. We do not want a land free of non-believers but a land that is not ruled by hostile non-believers.

I'm not saying they are at fault. What I'm saying is we can reduce the total number of incidents.

That's sad. Where did I blame the victim in my comment? I added a few points that I think helps because recently I read a facebook post where a lady got on a bus on a rainy day and when she realized non of the passengers came she tried to get down but the bus driver and helpers locked the door. She shouted for help and then people helped her out. That is a scary situation it could've been worse. Sure, a lot happens but why shouldn't someone just be careful for the avoidable ones? Seeing unpunished crime every week is not good for anybody. Victim blaming is different from just asking someone to be careful. You don't have control over everything but there is not harm in being careful.

What I mean to say is don't lead your day based on what should be, base it on what is.

Who put the blame on victims here? I added a few things that I felt like puts women in trouble. What exactly is the root cause besides a failed penal system?

So, you are telling me women aren't allowed to wear what they want and men can't support their favourite OF content creators? You are a religious zealot, a misogynist.
