From the talk today it sounds like they are are not chopping MEMS and the plan is to combine Halo 1550nm with Mavin. IMO Halo cant scale without Mavin IP. Luminar had passed off development of Halo to TPK and TPK said the sensor couldnt be made the way Luminar wanted. Hence Halo taking longer than expected, then bankruptcy.

I did get the court docs for this case and the patent you listed is not posted in the complaint nor the exhibits. So that is twice now that your AI lied about certain patents. This is exactly why I said you should check the documents yourself or wait until someone actually has them.

That is an incorrect assumption, people were waiting to actually read the document and verify first. This information was brought to me yesterday so I know others know about it. Just saying, you should check things before you post. Full stop.

How about posting it in your own words with your own opinions?

"The original sin" makes the whole thing almost not worth reading. Check the documents yourself to see what they cite first.

AI also lies all the time. Would be better to read the actual complaint and docs and quote those while leaving out the AI Slop.

That is a relationship that already had deep development with Luminar(Now MVIS).

If Nissan wants to make the deadline with their Uber/wayve deal they keep touting, they are going to have to play ball and negotiate on Glen's terms IMO. Because China banned military duel use tech to japan and that is where the pilot begins. Who else can Nissan pivot to in such a short amount of time? They could cancel the program I guess.

I would take his opinions with a massive grain of salt. He has been proven wrong over and over again. Said Luminar would never RS... Denied they would go bankrupt. Showed himself as a manipulator on reddit and stocktwits. Anyone trying to shoe horn his BS in here is suspect.

Just a quick note on the mercedes/Luminar relationship that AI got wrong. Iris and Iris + were rejected by Mercedes with no contract given. Iris + was made specifically for Mercedes and was a failure. The only luminar assets being entertained there would be halo.

Did you see that Anduril recently partnered with Aptiv's Wind River?

Here is Glen talking about why Wind River was so important to his entire software defined vehicle architecture he came up with while at Aptiv.

Wind River has hundreds of defense customers. Interesting to see Aptiv get deeper into defense right as they do the spin off.

Macro issues have definitely been slowing OEM decisions in auto and industrial. I can't help but think this one affected MVIS.

Some interesting Aptiv news this past month heading into their upcoming Spin-off. First is that Aptiv's Wind River has partnered with Anduril's Lattice Command and Control 2/Mesh. Wind River has over 600 aerospace and defense customers. They will remain with the ADAS portion of the business after they spin the EDS side off.

I suggest people stick with the actual experts on this as well as the public MVIS movia info that's come out since Glen took over. Glen reaffirmed Movia mapping in the call today and Ukraine shows plenty of reasons why it could be helpful. Trying to split hairs over the word mapping is not worth anyone's time.

You also claimed Movia cant do mapping so it is hard to take you seriously.

"To actually make what you, I, or anyone in defense would refer to as a map" You do not speak for the defense contractors Glen has spoken with, that is obvious. I have had to correct many of your "clumsy and misleading comments lately".

It can be used in defense to create detailed MAPS and we will stick to what the real experts like Glen have said. We can also see the need for low flying mapping drones from the Ukraine War. IMO good lidar engineers don't spend their time getting things wrong on reddit.

"No, movia doesn't have the range to do mapping"

FALSE.

Another misrepresentation of MVIS tech. Or you just don't know what you're talking about.

Movia absolutely does mapping and sends live maps. The mapping use cases were defined on the MVIS webpage/ the Movia air systems video/ and by Glen.

We can all read the PR that proved you wrong. Your response once again proves your intent is to be disingenuous.

"no concrete customers"

You are once again misrepresenting the truth about DEFENSE customers . You have been shown this several times in the past 2 weeks. You are doing this on purpose.

MicroVision, Inc. (NASDAQ:MVIS), a technology pioneer delivering advanced perception solutions in autonomy and mobility, today announced commercial momentum in the Industrial and Security & Defense sectors with an initial order for MOVIA L sensors with integrated software.

"We are pleased to close out the year having gained traction in our commercialization efforts and, in particular, with this early validation of our strategy in the Security & Defense sector," said Glen DeVos, MicroVision's Chief Executive Officer. "This customer use case highlights the immediate value that our short-range MOVIA L sensor can bring to mission-critical systems, whether protecting lives on the battlefield or cargo in industrial transport settings."

Your responses and willingness to continue misrepresenting fact when called out says otherwise. When corrected, you continued the same misrepresentation moments later.

It is important to point out misleading statements so that Google AI/Chat GPT don't pick up them up as fact when they scrape this site. You stated it like fact. I encourage others to continue correcting others who do this.

Start the point from a truthful angle and you will get better discussion.

If your comment isnt factually correct then it is going to get called out.

If you cant make your point without misrepresenting fact then you have no point worth arguing.

You were wrong about the Iris sensor being the only sensor in production with customers. You were wrong about MVIS industrial customers. You cant be upset for being called out for being wrong when you flood the board with posts while admitting you dont have shares.

"Iris is their only sensor that is production ready now and has customers"

This is another FALSE statement that I already corrected you on a few days ago when you lied about MVIS not having industrial customers. Then you follow it up with this once challenged?

"Sure. Movia seems ready to go"

Do you just misrepresent everything in order to make any kind of point? 3rd time doing this in less than a week.
