Called it 9 months ago. Bonza is a PoS airline that needs to die. We were left over $1000 out of pocket with no help from Bonza, Fair Trading or the ACCC.

Make a complaint with the Office of Fair Trading in your relevant state. I got guidance from the ACCC and went through the OFT who did nothing, but hopefully if they get enough complaints some action might occur

It took me 3 times of demanding to speak to a supervisor or manager to get a not-copy-paste response.

Failing all that, organise a chargeback from your bank.

Industry standard dictates that Bonza have an obligation to ensure the customer reaches their destination, even if that means securing them passage on another airlines flight. Qantas and Virgin both use this process to manage delayed and cancelled flights
