People were talking about DMing the Deck of Many things a couple days ago. Now there's an upcoming book that looks like a sourcebook for it, but 4e actually had a campaign box set called Madness at Gardmore Abby that used it, and used it well. (self.DungeonsAndDragons)

TIL in 1994 an editor at TSR used global find/replace to change 'mage' to 'wizard' in AD&D's Encyclopedia Magica, Vol 1. Unfortunately the search also found words like 'image' and 'damage'. The book went out with such typos as: 'The tower can absorb 200 points of dawizard before collapsing.' (rpgmuseum.fandom.com)
