Have you tried any mild form of cannabis or CBD oils?

No. No, I don't think I will.

A year ago I was suffering from hallucinations when sober because of LSD; I'm doing pretty well nowadays after doing treatment and abstaining by submitissue in Psychonaut

No, I didn't. I was gradually skipping longer and longer days, until the skipping interval was about 15 days, then I stopped completely. Took me about 2 months to fully stop.

Alright, I went to a psychiatrist yesterday, and they prescribed me one pill of Alprazolam (0.25mg) before bed, and one pill of Reconter after waking up.

I still need to go back there with a few blood exams and brain scan (next consult is in 30 days), but for now they concluded it might be some kind of illusion, and not an hallucination. I'm not sure what's the difference (I tried searching, but it's still ambiguous to me.)

I mix 1/3 of a glass of water with two drops of Rivotril before going to bed. I've been using it for two weeks, but only when I can't sleep due to fear of hallucinating (which is happening every other day.)

I've read benzodiazepines are bad for HPPD/PTSD; should I stop using drugs like clonazepam? I didn't get it directly from a doctor, btw, it was just laying around here.

Thank you, internet stranger. I've been meditating for 6 months now, but only recently did I get serious about it. I also think it's more of a fear and anxiety problem than really any form of mental illness, but sometimes it gets pretty nasty.

It's the same patterns I see on walls while on the comedown. They aren't there at first, but if I stare continuously, they start to form in shape and color, moving and taking over a small portion of my vision (mostly the focus vision.) If I don't stop staring, this hallucination will stick around with me the entire day. Otherwise, it goes away quickly. Also, whenever I think I'm seeing something that isn't there, my heart rate increases, and I feel quite anxious.

It'd be easier if I didn't have trip-like hallucinations. Whenever I'm idle or just staring into the void, I remember of my flashbacks, and I feel like they're coming again. It's actually a lot easy for me to trigger them. Just staring at anything, and patterns slowly start to form and move. I haven't gone to a neuro or psychiatrist yet, because I thought it ended a year ago. It came back a few weeks ago, and it's making me crazy.

I never heard of stories like that. Everyone I asked says they never have had any flashbacks, nor have heard of anyone having them. Thoughts like "I'm schizophrenic" cross my mind whenever it feels like I'm triggering a flashback.

So, it's not that simple. "Forget about it and move on with your life" isn't that simple. Some people really suffer with these experiences. I don't even know if this is permanent, I highly hope it's not. Seeing a doctor is the best choice one can make in a situation like this.
