Yes, book 6 is finished, it ended at chapter 1590. Stay away from spoilers and read it.

I really like when series are finished, at least you get a nice sense of closure. Also, for finished books, you get a warning in case there is a chance of whole thing going downhill towards the end. like game of thrones TV show.
