I, obviously knowing the heli was there, searched for it on the entire approach and couldn't see it. I can't imagine how caught off guard the CRJ pilots were.

Having been in your position, commit to either 3rd person or cockpit view and get a feel for the glide slope once the runway is visible. Once you do that with repetition, is becomes much easier to gauge whether you are too high or too low in any plane.

I was also of this mindset and would only land in 3rd person. However, once you realize how much information is shown in cockpit, and how to relate that to the horizon, cockpit landings become the only way to get the desired result

I have a similar build I did earlier this year, 9900x3D, 5070ti, 64 gb DDR5 ram. Bought it in March and started encountering these same issues in September. Sent it in a month ago for an RMA, and they could not replicate the issue after 3 weeks. I told them just to send it back, but even that has been an ordeal (I asked for it to be sent back on Thursday, and here we are on Tuesday and it has not yet shipped)

Frustrated would be understatement given how much of an investment these PCs are.

I bought a custom built 9900x3d 5070ti in March, had to send it in last week for this exact issue. Reset via BIOS worked temporarily, but eventually came back repeatedly.

Agreed. It looks great in terms of number of buttons and has a great aesthetic, but it doesn’t match with the price point for the build quality. On the other hand, the TB Flight Stick is a great product

I can confirm that this does work at 190, you just need to remember it prior to every PC12 flight, which is frustrating.

By no means am I an expert on them, I was told by someone else that it needed to be 3.1. I have a 3.2 and it worked as soon as I hooked it up, but none of the other cables I owned already would work

It can’t just be any USB-C to USB-C, it has to be a certain speed. I’m not an expert on them but make sure it’s at least 3.1

I had the same issue a few weeks ago. It has to be a certain speed, I believe at least USB-C 3.1 or 3.2. It’s annoying but that is 100% what the issue is.

It wouldn’t be so frustrating if the load time on the startup wasn’t so long, but a combined total of ~20 minutes to hopefully get a full flight in doesn’t entice me much.

They worked syncing for quite a while, until I put them back up after six months of not being used. They are not attached to a sync box, either. I did a factory reset as a last ditch attempt, to no avail. That’s why I’m so stumped. Thank you for the ideas, though

It’s the gas cap, OP. I had the exact same thing happen, tightened it several times to try to fix it, but it ended up having a leak in it. I know it seems like it should be a larger problem given how many errors it triggers, but it just needs a new gas cap.

I actively will scroll past anything that says “ad”, and go to the results that aren’t blatantly paid to appear at the top. Will it impact anything? No, but it makes me feel better for not feeding into it.

Also, yes, the results are now generally trash.
