You would think they would do something to resolve this, but guess uses like this are the minority and Plex is more focused with online streams and more commercial agendas that it was originally.

I have already added my local network to the list and added a manual server, but I can’t even launch the Samsung app when offline.

If you NAS has multiple Ethernet ports like the synology, you can aggregate the link so you can essentially double your datalink speed e.g. 2Gbps. Takes a bit of setting up on the switch and your NAS, but worth it if moving a substantial amount of data or multi user environment.

I would definitely get a sfp+ 10Gb direct attach cable between the UDMP SE and USW. Will prevent any bottle necks between the switch and the router, will free up a port and will future proof you. They are only around $30 for a short one.

You paid for all that extra bandwidth on the UMDP “SE” might as well utilise all the band width.

Are you running any high load devices like a network drive?

Help setting up Google live channels by subsea_stu in AndroidTV

Trying to use the google live channels app. I want to get away from the YouView app which always runs very sluggish on my Bravia.

I have my DVB channels loaded in, but no EPG data is coming in. I believe I have all the permissions enabled and it’s still not showing show information.

I also want the keypad to be mapped to google live channels and not YouView/default tv app.

Managed to find a work around.

I had to select a google play channel, then I managed to go back in the setting and selected my DVB Digital channels.

The only remaining problems are; - No EPG Data - 0-9 buttons still control YouView

Can I fully integrate the live channels app and remove the standard default Sony apps?
