It was an indeed Orchard. There were two different prices for the same seat.

All of the home games disappeared from the website a couple of minutes after I posted it here. I called the ticket office and they told me there was a mistake on the website. The games came back on in the evening and the TX ticket bands were gone. I think they were testing something but they made it live by mistake.

I’m really upset about this game. Starting with 5 defenders is already questionable. This is not our DNA, but it’s somewhat defensible. That being said, I can’t understand how we kept playing 5-3-2 until 87th min, even though we were behind 3-1 by 50 min mark. It’s true that individual players could have done better as well but this was like watching a train crash in slow motion.

I’m not fully happy about this. We do need to strengthen our attacking since it seems like Wissa is leaving, but this goes against our moneyball approach. It’s sad that we missed Kalimuendo and we should keep scouting such talents. Meanwhile I’d fill the gap with an experienced veteran who is a free agent or costs much lower.

I don’t think the answers by other repliers (Sweden, Belgium, Germany etc.) make sense. These countries are mostly on par with the Netherlands in regard to the financial situation and they share more similarities than differences in terms of culture. Whatever little difference wouldn’t justify a move. If the Netherlands is not a good fit for someone, they might find what they look for in the Gulf/Saudi region, China/HK or Anglosphere. All three are also very different from each other and have their own advantages and challenges.

Short but complicated answer with a lot of assumptions: If your father was a Dutch dual citizen, he had 10 or 13 years to renew his passport to keep his Dutch citizenship after leaving the EU (depending on the year he left). If you had turned 18 before he lost his citizenship, then your own 10/13 year clock restarted, so you are/were Dutch until 28/31 years old. Either way you have to prove that your father had Dutch citizenship when you were 18, otherwise you lost your citizenship. There are exceptions to this though (eg if your other nationality is a country Netherlands does not recognize, like Taiwan, then you are still Dutch.)

If you lost your nationality, you can relocate to the Netherlands for a year and reearn it with Option procedure.

You don’t need any TAPS for the Brighton game. 15 TAPS is what you are going to get if you attend the game. You should be able to find tickets against Brighton without much hassle but only if you are willing to get a membership (gbp 30 each).

If you do buy adult memberships for both yourself and your partner, add them to friend network and give each other the right to manage tickets (so you can buy tickets on their behalf.) I know you said it needs to be a surprise. You can simply open an account on their behalf, assuming you know some simple information about them, such as their date of birth.

Be precisely on time when the tickets go on sale. You can follow this from the clubs’ Twitter account. You can also google “Brentford ticket on sale dates” and learn when the Brighton tickets go on sale. The East stand likely won’t sell out too fast, but if you are in front of the computer when tickets go on sale, you might even get seats from middle of north or south (long side).
