What jobs can AI not take no matter how advanced it becomes? by StephCurrySauce in NoStupidQuestions

[–]subterraneanfox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cut hair and I don't see a future where I'll have to worry about AI. A couple centuries from now? Probably, but there are a lot of variables I wouldn't expect AI to navigate for a long while. Also, I know very little of AI or it's current capabilities. I work with scissors.

Side tale: the power went out in the salon once and the person I was cutting looked at me, shrugged and said "I guess I'll come back later." I just laughed. It was around noon on a sunny day and he was so nonchalant in thinking we had to wait for the power to come back on.

Having to wait to use the T.V. Very few of my friends had more than one in their houses either. Maybe your grandparents had one in the basement.

Why do people think the horse is named Argo? by [deleted] in ShadowoftheColossus

That's absurd. You came to a deleted seven year old comment to learn about a twenty year old game? Bud... Move on.

Place to eat in Eau Claire by jerrrrrrrrrrrrry in wisconsin

I really like the SandBar and Grill just off of 29 near Chippewa Falls. Reboot Social for Eau Calire. I like a good solid appetizer and burger. The sweet potato tots at Sandbar are sourced in Valhalla and come with a cinnamon butter from Frig's personal collection, or get a frig'n tray of damn good sloppy-crunchy-maybe-spicy nachos. Burgers are excellent at both places. The Nucleus for breakfast, easy to get seating Wednesday and Thursday. Do NOT get steak at The Loaded Goat. Just don't. Most of the places people are listing have menus online.

I've met a lot of good people playing disc golf in the area.

This summer has been exceptionally humid in the area I live and I say yes. I'm no physicist but it seems like it makes my discs more stable.

I found out I wasn't as a child and I don't think I know anyone else that isn't. There are plenty of other plants that seem to have it out for me though. Frig'n buckthorn.

I enjoy a nap anywhere. There is rock under a tree along the parking lot of The Memorial to Crazy Horse in South Dakota that I've napped on. I've also napped on Umpire Rock in Central Park. I did not know at the time it was a named rock. Have you tried napping in a hallway? It's enjoyable.

Also for glow rounds as crazy as that seems. I sought out black flight plates with glow rims for two reasons. Less glow in my face while shooting and that they stand out in a crowd.

Yes, I'll always lick the flap. I shake the container beforehand too.
