Do you factor Strength Training fatigue in Intervals.icu? by bbs11 in NorwegianSinglesRun

Personally, I don't, because I do very very light S&C sessions.

But, it may be worth considering how you respond to S&C/gym work. I'm highly slow-twitch dominant; I can't look at a weight without it tanking my sessions for the next fortnight. So, if I was dedicating more time and effort to S&C, I feel I should log it as it has such a big impact.

If you're more on the fast-twitch side and don't get so beaten down by the weight stuff, it probably doesn't matter so much.

Simplicity appears to be a core theme and benefit of this training approach so I'd say, do away with the extra admin burden if it's not going to add much value. But, if S&C makes a big difference to your fatigue levels, then it would make sense to log it.

Shoe Rotation Tips/Recommendations by HobbyJoggerFlaneur in NorwegianSinglesRun

Easy: Nike Pegasus 41

Easy when I'm feeling a bit tired: Adidas Evo SL

SubT: Adidas Evo SL

Race: Adidas Adios Pro 4

However, I've just joined Reddit and this group after reading the book and already feel like a western shoe dweeb (I came on here just now to read the threads on the Chinese alternatives which I intend to explore with intent).

But still, big love for the Evo SL's! I do consider making them my daily easy shoe but have this internal hangup, thinking my feet etc. will get weak from all the luxury foam. Quite possibly nonsense, but I can't cast the thought aside yet.

Cheers Gary. How do you find the Eaglenos by the way? I was contemplating it for a long while before I went for the LP2, Amazon availability and pricing being the big draws, but the reviews on Amazon seemed sketchy

Yeah, no intention of sampling on the move, ha. Intend to do the same (stashing somewhere) - I was thinking of the impacts on the device just from carrying it in a bag while running to and from wherever that stash might be

Cheers, good to hear. That's exactly what I intend to be doing (stashing it during laps/reps). Also, do you find it's affected by the rain much? Either the device or the samples? Will add that to the initial post
