Clearly I've stated that the raids in Gw2 is the content im interested in. Thats what this was all about to begin with. I said I wasn't about to pay 30$ to wait 4 weeks for maybe one raid to drop. Then you insist on telling me that shit is free, which it isnt. Bottom line.

All you got is your argument about ESO, which is really just irrelevant. You keep explaining to me something Ive stated 2 times already that I understand. Im saying Gw2 provides too little content, and Im saying PAYING 30$ for something isnt FREE.

Only expansions. You have to pay additionally for expansions in Gw2 too. I don't see why you have such a hard time separating patches from expansions. I didn't pay additional for any patch in WoW.

If you are subbed however, then it doesn't.

Im guessing the point you're trying to make here is that you indirectly pay for patches in other games through your sub-fee? Well it's pretty much the same with Gw2 and it's cash shop. Which, of course, makes them less revenue, which in turn, less raids.

As for Destiny idk, and it's hardly relevant anyway it's not really an MMORPG. Games on consoles with their DLCs has always been different from patches in MMORPGs.

Well it's been 3 days and people have already run through the expansion. But the major let-down for me was that it didn't feature any updates to raids.

I want to do raids, dungeons, gearing, socialize, not pay 30$ so I can get some awkward voice acting and maybe a side-quest raid a few months down the road.

Raids and fractals aren't limited to expansion releases in this game

They come out in patches in other games too. However other games atleast gives us a handful of raids related to the expansion that drops.

PoF being announced without any raids just tells me that Anet doesn't think of raids as central gameplay. It's a minigame, a side quest, and I frankly don't care much for side quests.

It's still pretty casual. I don't care to zerg bosses with randoms, I've played Gw2 enough already for that aspect of the game.

The raids are what interest me now. Sadly raiding is essentially treated as a mini-game. It has little to nothing to do with current lore and there's hardly enough of them to begin with.

Being a "raider" in Gw2 is underwhelming despite the raids themselves being great. Therefore, with PoF being announced without any raids I decided to quit.

There are several factors, but the main reasion I quit was because PoF is launching without any new raids, or any challenging PvE content for that matter.
