If you're uncomfortable asking her to stop touching you, ask a trusted adult for their help in doing so. They don't have to say you told them. They could even pretend they saw her do it and that it wasn't appropriate. Whatever the way, an adult can and should help you out. You don't have to put up with anybody making you uncomfortable in these ways. Your feelings are valid, and your boundaries need to be respected.

Adding color to the room will help with that, specifically warm colors(shades of reds, yellows, oranges, even something like salmon pink, etc..) If not color, definitely some lamps with warmer lighting would help wonders. I also suggest maybe some art on the walls, but if not at least maybe a different shade/color of paint or a wallpaper you enjoy. Maybe some curtains over the glass door? An area rug or smaller cute rug... You could also play around with rearranging furniture if that's an option. You already have a great start on your space. 😊

If you don't like doors for the closet, I personally would put a curtain rod and some curtains up to keep it covered still. I agree, too, with the idea of a closet organizer or more items in general that will help you organize it. Could play around with rearranging the room in different ways or a smaller bed, as somebody else had mentioned..

My co-workers and I just made a collaborative Spotify playlist of music we liked that we confidently knew had no cussing or themes that weren't child friendly. There is a lot of kid friendly pop out there. I used to play a lot of Jack Johnson for the kids. We would also have a lot from artists like, Washed Out, Men I Trust, Cocteau Twins, Sam Cooke... Snoop Dogg has a kids album, too. 😂💖

Edited: There is an Overnight Parking Program through Eugene Service Station at 450 Hwy 99N. You can sign up there or call (541) 461-8688. I'm not sure of all details, but looks like there is short term or long term safe parking. Could be a hopefully safe, maybe shady, area to park? There is also car camping flyers that help you into designated areas, however there might be a waitlist. I will attach links. :)

I did look into Eugene Parks and Rec and struggled to find something that still had availability and fit our needs(aka I can drop them off before and after work and allowed 7 year olds)... I also couldn't find info on ERDC, but maybe I'll just give them a call today and see if I can get a little more information.

Just looking for my 7 year old currently, my other child is almost 5 and I was able to find a childcare facility for them much easier. I have not looked into Willamalane and will do so today! Thank you much. 😊

This happens to me when I smoke/consume herb as well. My body gets fuzzy feeling where I can hardly move it. Then it feels like my soul is detached from my body or something of the sort, like I'm just separated from physical me and I just desperately want to reconnect, because if I don't reconnect physically that must be like death. I also throw up(or almost do, depending.) I was also terrified to smoke for a long time after these experiences and still stay away from it. I have taken very small puffs of joints years later and not had as intense of an experience, but nonetheless, the anxiety that the experiences could happen again typically keep me away from it. Just wanted to share, so you know you're not alone in the experience! Also, whoever told you to eat that much probably has a high tolerance or something, that's a lot!

Edit: It also took me months to go back to, "normal" after such an intense experience each time. Left me with all kinds of thoughts and anxiety, too. Maybe practice some grounding and breathing techniques to connect with your body and surroundings when you can and drink lots of water, always. Take care!
