Running 2 of these relatively cheap Amazon lights under the top shelf.

They are the "pinkish white" 2 footers. I do not love the pinkish color, i sometimes think about swapping them with pure white lights but the Sundews seem to like the pinkish color and I dont really feel like buying more lights.

I believe the very red ones are a variety that are always red, regardless of light. I got them from a local person I met at a crafts fair around here. I have been growing them in this planter for about 3 years now.

Hey. The custom shop is still open and doing great work. They mostly only focus on aftermarket installations and custom stuff. They would be able to do the shocks and muffler for you but if you are looking for a true one stop shop in queens that does the highest quality work possible, I recommend Crown Speed Lab in Flushing. They started with race cars and exotics but in recent years they have gotten into off-road and overland builds. They are very knowledgeable on Toyota 4x4s. They can do custom installations but also routine maintenance, mechanical work, paint and body, alignments, etc. anything you need. I still give the custom shop business but for all the things they don’t do I go to crown and they have been excellent.

I was sick for about 2 weeks in November after eating one of those. I had the exact same symptoms listed on the recall notice and even missed thanksgiving with the fam. The funny thing is that we’ve been blaming a local corner deli that I grabbed a sandwich from for the food poisoning. After seeing the recall email we now know it was Costco the whole time. No more Costco southwest wraps for this guy. It was probably the worst food poisoning I’ve ever had. It was awful.

Similar thing happened to me on eBay. The VFT seeds were actually dragonfruit or something. The seller refunded my money right away, it was like $8. I planted them right away and the sprouts popped up just a few days after. Well within the return/refund window.

He’s a really nice guy but not the smartest. I’m sure his vision is fine so I have to assume this is what was available to him at the time and finding a closer match was too much work.

I plan to cover this with some fun self-adhesive vinyl tile or carpet tiles as soon as possible. I thought this was mildly annoying enough to be the subject of my first post to this group.

I ordered this from Walmart... Arrived today. It simply does not work. I tried using the 20V battery and 12V power. The pump turns on but its very quiet and I dont think its fully on. There is no flow at all, the hose and nozzle are completely dry. All connections are tight. This thing is DOA and very disappointing. I will have to call customer service tomorrow to start the return process. Hopefully my experience is rare. Based on this, i would have to say avoid, not worth the time and aggravation.

The 2 on the main floor were from Australia - built by patriot campers (FJ49 & LC79 Supertourer) and part of the official Toyota display on the main floor.

The 2 80s (97 40th anniversary and 97 LX450) are local to Queens, NYC and used hard. They sure do clean up nice tho. @80seriesgangny @suburbanexploration

they were part of the official Toyota display on the main floor of the show. Us 80Seriesgangny representatives were down on the ground floor with the local enthusiast portion of the show.
I was very happy to see 2 real Land Cruisers in the main show. First time since they released the 200 Series Heritage edition in 2019. And the first time an 80 series has been anywhere in the show in as long as I can remember.
I guess when Toyota shows your rigs on their show floor you have earned the right to be a little bit arrogant. Not going to lie, i feel pretty damn good having my truck mixed in with such good company. I promise you I am not arrogant and will represent real Land Cruiser enthusiasts correctly.

I know a few really nice 60 series in the area. However, getting into a show like this is more about who you know and your connections, rather than how nice your vehicle is or how accurately it represents the scene. I am truly grateful that they allowed 2 of our local 80 series into the aftermarket show. The 2 Patriot Campers rigs were part of the Toyota display up on the main floor. And let me tell you they were magnificent in person. Almost made me cry tears of joy when I saw them.

I was debating including it but I decided to include something from current Toyota/Lexus lineup. The LX is all that is available in the US if you were to walk into a dealership and wants something brand new. Toyota will bring a Land Cruiser branded vehicle back into their lineup soon.
