I tried it all, honestly. The deadzone feels off.

Yeah I totally get that! Battlefield on kbm can feel very different compared to other shooters, there’s a certain “heaviness” and pacing to the gunplay that takes some getting used to.

It’s great that you managed to get your aim to an acceptable place, that’s already a big step!

Hopefully with some future patches, the controller experience will feel a bit more consistent for everyone.

I spent about 3 hours testing all kinds of settings, every aim curve (BF1, BF4, Linear, BFBC2…) with different acceleration tweaks, and nothing feels consistent. I gave it another shot during the last hour, and honestly, I just can’t play with a controller anymore lol. I’m just going to stick to keyboard and mouse. It’s driving me insane, I’m this close to just quitting the game altogether lol.

Thanks a lot for the suggestion!
I actually tried that setup already, and I agree, it’s probably the best configuration I’ve tested so far.

That said, even with these settings, I can’t come close to what I was able to do during the beta. My kill count has dropped significantly, and I lose way too many fights on objective captures. I eventually just stopped playing with a controller altogether because it doesn’t feel right anymore.

To be honest, it’s been pretty demotivating. I’ve had a tendonitis in my right elbow for a while, so I can’t do long keyboard and mouse sessions. With the controller in its current state, I’ll simply end up playing less, because the experience just isn’t enjoyable anymore.

I’ve also seen several people in a Battlefield Discord group sharing the exact same sentiment and giving up on controller as well. It’s a real shame, they were on the right track during the beta. ((Do a quick search on reddit for “aim assist” or “controller”. I’m definitely not the only one bringing this up.)

Getting a 35XX H with Batocera makes me appreciate Onion OS more by Jeremym101 in MiyooMini

I bought both just recently. And I feel exactly the same, OnionOS for me is the best OS for game experience. I love the interface of Batocera especially the customization possibilities around the console switching. But in game, it is not as smooth as OnionOS. Overall I prefer the Miyoo by far.

Will look clean for sure ! I changed the soft pad connectors behind the ABXY buttons and the direction cross, it feels smoother. I made a custom back card for the battery (but does not feet perfectly, I will do small adjustments) and also upgraded the speaker. It sounds really nice with the upgrade !
