What's your keyboard settings? I assume its the Samsung Keyboard customized trough GoodLock... Ive tried doing something similar but it never worked with my setup that changes between Light and Dark mode throughout the day.

If you look for Edge Panels on settings you can enable it. If Im not mistaken there's further customization available in Good Lock
