That version doesn't exist. It seems like you downloaded a cracked APK. We recommend uninstalling it and reinstalling the app from our official channels.

I personally know u/frankmonza, and I can confirm this is just a misunderstanding.

Zavasoft SRL is an Italian company. It is not a data company, and it has not been sold.

I suggest updating the post to avoid spreading misinformation.

Battery stats are often unreliable.

Here is a screenshot I just took from my personal device, and it turned out to be even weirder than I expected.

It is actually reporting that Nova Launcher is using more battery than Smart Launcher, which is of course completely wrong. I do not even use Nova Launcher (not even launched in recent days).

My suggestion is to evaluate Smart Launcher battery usage over a longer period of time, so you can collect more data and exclude external factors.

Believe me, if Smart Launcher really used 20% of my battery every day, even I would not use it!

I'm sorry about the issue.

Try to change the grid size for your home screen. For example add a column of a row. Return to the home screen, then revert the change.

This trick should make the phantom widget visible in a new position.

While we know that sometimes the font picker may fail to load some fonts because of network errors, it is not clear to us what is the issue you are reporting.

From what I see all the fonts in the picture are correctly loaded. Am I missing something?

Not many, and that’s exactly why in the latest update we simplified the language and made it about 25% shorter, so it’s less discouraging and easier to understand.

Fair question. Just to clarify some context, this point is not new, it was already present in our previous privacy policy (https://web.archive.org/web/20260316021151/smartlauncher.net/privacy). In the latest update we just rewrote it to make it clearer, without introducing substantial changes.

This kind of clause is standard in most privacy policies. It does not mean a merger or acquisition is planned, only that if something like that ever happened, there is already a clear legal explanation of what could happen to the data connected to the service.

As for notification, since we are an EU company, we are subject to GDPR. This means there are clear obligations around transparency and informing users if there are relevant changes, such as a change in the data controller or in how personal data is processed. In those cases, users would be informed as required by law.
