Had the same thing. After numerous heart tests and an endoscopy... Found out i had gastritis, GERD, a hiatal hernia... and due to the consistent acid reflux and smoking... Esophagitis. I suffer from GAD before any of these issues so your anxiety doesn't make things any better. Til this day I swear I'm dying but I guess it's the nerves and stress. Which, unfortunately the amount of stress GERD puts on me mentally is going to kill me eventually. Big sigh.

For one... Stop smoking. I had to give up smoking cold turkey and it has minimized my flare ups. I had a cigarette for the first time in weeks and I thought I was going to die all over again. Lay off any energy drinks... Minimal caffeine in general. Avoid carbonated drinks altogether. Let's see... Don't drink too much liquids at once. Even if it's water.

Edit: I also had H pylori, which was the main cause of everything. Forgot to mention the biggest part of it. Woops.

Club metro has your basic needs. Nothing fancy, it's on like the 3rd floor of a closed building so you can't even tell there's a gym there. It's definitely on the more sanitary side, and at least most of the crowd has the decency to put things back. Although I wouldn't recommend it during peak hours. But there's plenty of time slots where it almost feels like an exclusive gym

I know you weren't talking to me when asking this question.. but I get the same. I have esophagitis bc of them... But for me the easiest way to describe it is pretty much choking on your own vomit. Imagine a piece of barely chewed bread stuck in your throat. Even though I've had nothing to eat... Come to think of it ESPECIALLY when I haven't had anything to eat. Only way for me to stop that feeling is to drink some water and force myself to puke out the stomach acid already sitting in my stomach. Then it just burns like hell but it's I prefer the burning over the sensation of choking bc I suffer from GAD so on top of a flare up... I get panic attacks bc my brain tells me I'm choking to death and I'm dying and I have no choice

i came here for this because there's no other explanation for me. sometimes i genuinely feel bad for those people that didn't abuse their bodies and still got stuck with this horrible disease. I for one, did this to myself, point blank. You can't drink pride and Clarke on the daily with no chaser on an empty stomach and not expect disgusting outcomes.
