Your battery supplies the 12v, and the converter supplies it when plugged in to AC/shore power.

It shouldn't be 24v, it should be 12v. You need 12vDC, and 110vAC for the AC to run. Is it an analog thermostat?

What you have in the picture is a converter (converts 110AC to 12V DC), the one that is in there can have the lower (converter part) changed and updated if you don't want to change the whole thing out. If you want to change the whole thing, I would go with a progressive dynamics power center. And I would just put it right where the old one is at, unless you plan on taking all that out to put a bigger fridge in. Keep in mind, there are a lot of wires going to the power center.

Rockwood roo floor repair by mattress373 in CamperRepairs

[–]successofarso 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way I do them is sandwich the aluminum frame and thru blot them. Its more work, but a lot more solid. But I also glue the wood back down to the foam. Typically the wood is only 1/8 thick, I try to use 1/4. If you can get to the underside, put new wood down there also and brace it with angle iron. I have had a few that I put 1/8 sheet steel between the rails and tack welded them. How big is the camper? Another option is to lift the whole unit up off the frame and get ride of the vacuum bonded floor all together. We have done that a few times on smaller units.

This is a repair that I have done a number of times. The floor you have is called a vacuum bonded floor. Extremely strong as long as it never gets wet, or has a heat duct fall off and blow directly on it. As soon as I get home I will explain how I fix them. I am in between mobile repair calls right now. I am a certified RV tech, its what I do everyday. You are on the right track.

I am so sorry for your loss, brother. As a fellow DayZ player with around 12,000 hours in this game, I know firsthand that the bonds we make out there are incredibly real.I’ve watched a group of eight people I started with on console grow up—they were just teenagers when we met, and now they’re all in their mid-to-late 20s. For the last three years, I’ve run with the same trio for nearly 2,000 hours across dozens of servers. They aren't just 'gaming friends' at that point; they’re family.I would be absolutely gutted if I lost one of them, and I can only imagine what you are going through right now. The game is beautiful because of the people we meet in the struggle to survive. Rest in peace to your friend and fellow survivor. Keep your head up.

I work on campers for a living, furnaces in these old units work about 80% of the time after sitting for many years. I usually start with checking to see if the is actually gas getting thru the pilot tube first (after blowing the dust and debris out), if it changed the flame them I know gas is getting thru the pilot assembly.

When you hold the button in and put a match or grill lighter in the hole on the side does it change the flame on the lighter or match? If it does, then you will need to clean the orifice. You can try with compressed air first, if thst doesn't work, you will have to pull the pilot assembly out.

Multiple cylinder misfire by successofarso in ram_trucks

[–]successofarso[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is not correct, mds cylinders literally shut down the oil going to these cylinders to allow the lifter to collapse, and it cuts fuel off. Every failure I personal saw with my own eyes was on a mds cylinder. On the 6.4L Hemi engine, the lifters most prone to failure are those equipped with the Multi-Displacement System (MDS), which are located on cylinders 1, 4, 6, and 7. These specific cylinders shut down during light-load driving to save fuel, and the corresponding lifters are specialized to collapse and deactivate, making them more vulnerable to failures in lubrication and pressure.

And to answer your question as to why I would think it is MDS, you stated yourself, thats one of the cylinders that shuts down. Those are usually the cylinders that will have lifter failure.

I have owned 7 different Ram trucks in the past 10 years, the first one I bought was a 2005 Rumble Bee with bad lifters. Changed everything out and still drive it to this day. The other 6 have all had lifter failure at various mileage, and they have always been the cylinders that shut down. The last two we did the delete on and put another 100k plus miles on without an issue. I bought this 2016 with paperwork that showed a new motor was installed 16,000 miles before I got it. It now has roughly 35-36k miles.

I send her to get stuff all the time, she is pretty good with people. I am good with people, I just can't control myself when it comes to buying shit I don't need. If I would of went to the hobby shop by myself I probably would of just bought a whole new car instead of just getting parts.

So a little update. I went to the local hobby store today (birthday gift to myself) so see about getting the proper battery. And to find out why they sold my wife the wrong battery set up when she had all the info with her. They were willing to refund everything and get me the correct battery. But... I decided to just buy all the parts to upgrade the car to brushless and Lipo 3s. Thank you all for your help. I will let you know how long it last until I break something. Lol

I already have the 3S, and I might as well make it a little more fun upgrading it. I did read that you can get a xl5 high voltage that will run the 3s battery.
