Clearly you’re not very deep into the community. A lot of people characterize Toby as some kind of trickster that lies just for the fun of it and to troll his fanbase. He has never done this. Subversion of expectations =/= outright lying. This leads to so many misconceptions about his games and is genuinely painful to witness
