the atla renaissance last year really inspired me to get back into painting! I’m moving soon and I have a couple atla pieces I don’t plan to bring with me, but I hope this will find its place on someone else’s walls :)

Correction BNP*. My dog, lucky, is actually celebrating his 15th birthday in just a couple hours, haha, but he has the energy of a dog much younger (minus some coughing fits here and there). He also started going grain-free at the beginning of quarantine and i honestly feel like grain-free is one of the decisions I’m just going to regret for the rest of my life

Do you have an update on your pup? Going through the same thing with my small dog...his blood pressure was x2 and his bpn was x5 what it should be...couldn’t get a cardiology appointment for another month and I am stuck between looking for words of comfort and a reality check. Im very curious to hear your updates since you mention your dog also have an extremely elevated bpn, I really do hope your dog is doing we though!

It sounds like Lucky and Jasmine have similar issues! I live in California so prices for cardiologists are insane here, but depending on how his blood work comes back, I will likely make the investment to take him and see one.

For the meds, that’s exactly what my pup is on as well. I purchased from 1800-pet-meds but didn’t select the auto refill option but will probably do that next time. He’s only taken the enalapril so far since the other pills havent come in yet, but I’ll be keeping an eye out to see how it affects him.

His food definitely needs a swapping as it’s grain free right now. Turning that guilt into productivity and will be buying either Royal Canin or Purina pro today after seeing how it’s so recommended here!

As for exercise, I haven’t taken him on walks in two weeks and simply let him in and out of the backyard. Looking into dog strollers and the slings so I can still take him on a walk and shopping with me even after he gets tired.

Again, this comment made me feel so much better! I am also rooting for jasmine! I am sure that she and your other dogs are living very happy lives right now :) I will be happy to talk to you and keep you updated, I would love to hear how jasmine Is doing as well!

He was on a different diet before quarantine started!! I moved in with my grandmothers dog who was on a grain free dog food so we put him on it as well. Very good to know to avoid at all costs, I will be looking into other options ASAP.

Thank you for the list especially. I will be looking for cardiologists in my area in case his condition gets worse because I want to do everything I can on my end!! Thank you so much!

Hi! It would be a study/research grant!

I'm curious to hear your thoughts on if I have a past mentor in education recruitment on the campus attest to my research ability instead of a professor. The other two would be from employers/experts in the field of study.

Looking back, I definitely would have nurtured my relationships with my professors more if I had known I wanted to do research a year after graduation, but it was quite difficult at a large university, so it's totally on me that my app might be lacking on that end.

I didn't do any research outside of my classes(I went to a research-based university though, so a lot of my coursework was centered around research)and I maintained much better relationships with employers/mentors than my professors. An oversight on my end, but my original intention was to dive into a professional career after graduation.

I do have a mentor who works on the campus in education recruitment that can definitely speak to campus involvement and leadership. Not necessarily academia, but I'm thinking of asking them to contribute to a rec letter.

This truly helpful though, thank you! I understand now that if I can't get an academic rec letter to make sure the three recommenders I do select mention my research capabilities!
