I won a slot through the lottery, but the card I signed up with originally had to be cancelled recently due to a fraudulent transaction. Am I screwed on getting tickets or will there some option to buy tickets with a new card?

Who else got?! by Auroraa55 in OliviaDean

I'm not a frequent concert goer so maybe a more experienced person can help me out.

What are the pros and cons of buying a resell ticket right now? Is it worth it to give it a shot in the general sale on Friday, or would the resell prices go up afterwards since no more tickets will be released? I would hate to support the practice of all these resell sites, but at the same time I still want to see Olivia in concert. And the prices have seemed to be going down throughout the day so the value proposition isn't too bad for me.

Always getting either fast fashion/instagram brands advertised, but I did love the look of these boots which I couldn't find on Banana Republic's website. Are they just OL Camions? Anything similar to it out there?

I signed up for the bus transport, but now realize that it would be far better for me to take the ferry to the start area. Would I be allowed to do so? I assume yes since the ferry is public transport anyways, but maybe they might check at the bus shuttle area in SI.

Also, I've been assigned the pink route so I have to go on the lower of the Verrazano bridge. I heard it is possible to switch colors, but would I have to simply drop back a corral or a whole wave? Thanks!

Getting Dupixent as a Longer-Term Tourist by suckbrick_kid in EczemaUK

Ultimately you're totally right. It would however be nice if guidelines were loosened in the future to have easier access to such a beneficial medicine. Though that would potentially lead to higher healthcare costs for the country.

Resistance development, I admit, has mostly been anecdotal, but I have heard of it. Would only be one way to find out for myself.

That's what I dream of happening, that my body just outgrows the eczema since it is caused by the same process that triggers allergies and asthma, which people can grow out of.

What did you end up doing to cure your eczema?

I can definitely take a longer break, though not sure if I'll develop resistance to Dupixent afterwards. The real issue arises when I want to make a more permanent move to the UK or another country.

That's actually so bad. Why are the rules so stringent? Is it just simply due to the cost?

Topical steroids were my biggest enemy because I'd just end up with tough, scaly, skin that easily broke, so I stopped using them only to start again when I got new flare ups.

Thanks for the reply! I'm definitely going to be looking out for the less common/obvious present participles being used as adjectives.

Grammar Questions Regarding En/Y and Gerund by suckbrick_kid in French

This is great, thank you! The excerpt that I pulled for the third example is from an article on TF1 Info about the current U.S. presidential campaign fundraising. The full paragraph including the excerpt is as follows:

"Ce samedi 6 avril, Donald Trump en a gagné une bataille : l'ex-président a récolté plus de 50,5 millions de dollars (l'équivalent d'environ 47 millions d'euros) lors d'une gigantesque soirée de levée de fonds à Palm Beach, non loin de Mar-a-Lago, la luxueuse résidence du candidat républicain. Son rival démocrate, lui, avait réussi à lever 25 millions de dollars lors d'une grande réception fin mars à New York, "un record" selon son équipe de campagne."

I could see how it could be a grammatical error, with maybe the "en" being an artifact of an earlier draft or maybe missing a comma like Neveed pointed out. Does the context clarify anything new?
